Those are pretty strong words, will it must be done for a safer america. It is upto the americans to decide now, we have already seen in the past few years the increasing gun violence

They may be strong...but they are accurate. There is simply no way to accomplish what you advocate without scraping a key amendment in our "Bill of Rights". To do so would inevitably lead to armed insurrection on a massive scale. As to your second point, it may seem as if gun violence is on the rise, but it is not. Violent crime rates of every kind have been declining steadily in America for forty years. Our homicide rate is now the same as it was in 1960. Cities like New York and Los Angeles, San Francisco, Miami, etc., are far safer today than they were in the 1970's-80's.
