Guardians of Peace: China's PLA to conduct live-ammunition drill in South China Sea

We simply ensure freedom and safety of navigation. What's wrong wit that? After TPP, you will need a lot of protection from pirates and natural disasters, and all that.

:enjoy:

First of all,I think that it's necessary to remind you the something when you are here talking about the Law of the Sea.That is Uncle Sam haven't ratified this Law of the Sea yet.I think you must be cautious to make some conclusion.
Shooting the messenger isn't a valid argument against the message he carries, is it?

What's your meaning of "only signed"?Can't you understand this sentence?...I have to repeat it again.Do you understand the original?
Oh, it's not my interpretation that matters. It's Chinese officials' interpretation and implementation of it. Can you find that China's response is in conflict with my explanations? As I pointed out, it wasn't immediately clear to the international community that China's declarations were meant to convert a multilateral treaty into the accession of the world to China's claim to as much of the South China Sea and Yellow Sea as it wants.

Actually, you doesn't make me clear, you make me confused.Your conclusion is quite bias.
Sorry about confusion. As for conclusion being biased, most conclusions are.

Vietnam and Philipines were both backward region in ancient time. And they were both colony during the WW2.
Neither history nor the result of WW2. Especially Philipines, without any legality.
Doubtless that attitude by China is part of the problem.

China didn't have to start these irritations, you know. I presume the Party has done this as a tool to whip up Chinese nationalism to bolster its rule, working to the point where it can conquer at a time of its choosing. I'm not blind to history and I see China is a colonial power, consuming territory and subsuming - sometimes exterminating - non-Han populations, sometimes fast and sometimes slow.

I am dead serious.

China has never threatened freedom of navigation. In fact, it loves freedom of navigation as much as Japan does. Our one drawback is that our island genesis program is still very much behind yours in terms of scale and pace.

We are simply trying to catch up with you. Japan is one of the role models for China. Remember flying geese development model in East Asia? Guess who is the leading goose?

ADIZ has nothing to do with maritime military presence. You might have mistaken one for another.

Ignorance makes someone arrogant, and arrogance makes someone biased.
We'd better to stop the worthless arguement.

don't forget that China was colonized by others, Mongolian and Manchurian ruled China too.

. . .
I can use onather word for that, but I think it could be hurt you more.

You speak of China always in such negativity, but isn't that the same China that ruled/dominated/conquered your Vietnam for 1000 years? Yup the same one, so what does that say about yourself as a Vietnamese and for your mighty Vietnam?

Recognize your inferiority complex but don't fuel it, you are only hurting yourself buddy.
