Hey guys, I know it's a wrong thread....but what are some of the largest temples in india? What's their capacity?

Any info would be appreciated

I've got to look into the latest info on Dharavi, but from what I remember, a couple of hundred families have recently been moved to a cluster of 18-storied rehab towers.

Kandivali (W), in the western suburbs is seeing a lot of development where huge swathes of shanties are being razed to make way for LIG/HIG towers; case in point: this 50 acre plot close to the western express highway...

Numerous slum pockets all across the city and its suburbs have either already been razed, or are in the process of being cleared to make way for mixed-use development.

I wouldn't touch Akshardham with a 100 foot pole.

@Bombaywalla any updates on Dharavi rehabilitation and reclamation?

Dharavi is a gold mine given its central location and its proximity to BMC. However, the people living and working there will not move. Electricty and water is stolen and this makes the small scale industries there extremely happy. It is also a disaster waiting to happen - one fire or industrial accident could kill thousands.
