Contemporary India perfectly captured.. A old bicycle and a ambassador taxi, Next to a Ferrari at a hi end designer store in a beautiful colonial facade, All reflected in a puddle of a massive hole on the road.. Bombay is a special place full of contrasts..
In 2nd pic on extreme right side my wife's parents lives. There is another high-rise being constructed however same isn't visible in pic.Lower Parel

A month back I had gone to BOB twins building for meeting just left of the visible pic in front of Bank of America building. It certainly is. That's a FIAT 1100 (Padmini) taxi cab, which is now a rare sight considering over 95% of them have been scrapped, and that puddle is from a rain shower owing to the road surface sloping down towards the roundabout during road resurfacing works.
P.S: the "designer" store in the background is part a chain of electronics' stores by TATA.

It's not sufficient, more than 2/3 city still needs good infrastructure with nature care.It seems the whole city is rising from scratch. Look at the amount of construction going on

I made one wrong decision due to which I will have to move out of Khar-Bandra(my home place) which is on the edge of autorickshaw in Western Mumbai to out of Mumbai for 2-3 years after which I plan to move to Worli. My initial plan was for a flat in worli only. I don't really like in this part of Mumbai, too much artificial concrete, nothing like Mumbai soul.I can't imagine living in the 'burbs... I hate autorickshaws.

I have been to Surat, however I feel its more like semi urban city only. Even for second home, I would prefer further north towards Suarasthra.Come to Suart. The richest city in India. You will enjoy all sort of life. I have 7 shopping complexes and mall in 200 m from my house. A road called "Gaurav path" with lush green plantation in between the road and both the side of road. Farms extending hundreds of meters, water canal, stable for pure milk, very little pollution, Top class law and order, 24X7 electricity and water. top class law and order, a lots of celebration and best food of all varieties, very nice people and these all with very low cost of leaving.
I wonder how that crane supports the weight of his balls

Looking at these pics of Mumbai can't help feeling that it's just started its growth spurt. Really reflects the phase the country is going through.
