This so wrong at many levels. I don't understand why your anger is directed towards Turkey.

Many of you seem upset actually, the reason many of your fellow countrymen are spamming with "refugees" posts over the recent days. Not only on this forum, but on every social medias. The fact that the wanna be Sultan's plan didn't go as planned is bothering lot of people.

The Turks are foaming at the mouth on every social media outlet while Europeans are backing Greece everywhere, starting from the average Joe on the street,up to, and that's good news, the political elites

Bro, do you think that Turkey actively trying to make people go from Turkey?

You know Turkey is just a transit country, refugees ultimate goal to reach Western European countries. Back in 2015 Turkey reached an agreement with EU for refugees.

For years Turkey tried to prevent these refugees leave Turkey. We used coast guard, gendermaie, police, intercepted boats, etc... To what end?

Although, EU didn't kept it's promises, Turkey held the deal for years. When Turkey said that it's gonna create a safe zone in Northern Syria, establish towns for refugees. EU rejected the very idea, called this an invasion and decleared it's not going to support this move.

Then the Idlib crisis. Russia and Syrian forces swept 1.5 million to Turkey's border and there are 4 million people living in Idlip. Turkey again wanted help from EU to back Turkey against Russia again fall on deaf ears.

After all of this. What Turkey did is essentially, stop chasing and capturing the people whom trying to get into Europe.

We are making no effort, spending no money, doing nothing violent on refugees.

You don't understand....we are not putting any effort on anything. See my above post.

You're chill man but read some posts of your fellow countrymen, nevermind the national insults if you dare comment on anything. Luckily I've grown immune

I agree with what you said anyways. Safe zones for refugees was a good idea, that just shows lack of long term vision planning by European leaders, but also Turkish ones who didn't intervene much earlier in the country that could have avoided the current situation we know and the direct consequences of the Syrian civil war on Turkey.

And we wouldn't need a migrant deal in the first place if Europe was itself doing the "bad task" of protecting its borders instead of throwing left and right nice speeches while relying on others to do the dirty work.

BTW,good to see you again here,as my fellow European said you're one of the most sane and chill Turkish member (alongside some others like xenon) compared to many others.

Pampered Europeans forgot that each cause has an effect. Interfering and promoting instability in Middle East and Africa will result in more refugees entering Europe.

The solution is to solve the root cause. Work with Turkey, instead of hampering peace efforts, and Europe will be free of refugees.

Antagonize Turks, they won't put money and effort into holding back refugees. Why should they anyway? They have bigger issues.

If it was up to me, i would never interfere in the Syrian Civil War, This whole mess could have been averted.

As for Europe, nothing happened in Syria was Europe's fault, none of it. However Europe itself effected by the Syrian Civil War, be it ISIS doing massacres in Europe or refugees flooding European cities. At that point i think, Europe should have taken a more active stance in Syria.

And we wouldn't need a migrant deal in the first place if Europe was itself doing the "bad task" of protecting its borders instead of throwing left and right nice speeches while relying on others to do the dirty work.
I'm under the same impression. As if every problem is gonna be solved by itself. I understand that Europe has no security problems, no wide scale terrorism threat, good GDP when compared with the rest of the world. So, why spend money... but problems began to hurt on the long run...That said, which politician in the world is perfect.

BTW,good to see you again here,as my fellow European said you're one of the most sane and chill Turkish member (alongside some others like xenon) compared to many others.
Thanks, i enjoy having conversation with European members. With some other nationalities...everything is ideological not rational.

Same here.....Losing my temper and throwing insults back, it wasn't worth it.
Being European in this forum is hard. Some people here wants to see you get hurt (economically, politically, etc..) just because you are an European....

All that gdp still a shithole. Romania is even more worse than the Congo. In fact even the Congo is better than your gypsy kingdom.

African countries are coming up in the world, thanks in large part to China and Turkey. If European neo-colonialists, like French, stop interfering in their countries, Africa can rise very rapidly.

From my experience with African nationals, esp in West, East, Saharan, and North Africa, they are some of the most down to Earth and pleasant people to be around.

Europeans and their media/politicians are going insane for no absolute reason, one refugee commits a crime and they paint all Africans or Arabs with the same brush. European racism needs to end.

It is a globalized world, even US is facing it's own refugee crisis from Latin and South America due to US backed coups in Guatemala, Bolivia, etc. and economic warfare against Venezeula.

Then you have Indians and BD migrants joining those caravans to find a better life due to poverty in their home countries.

I watched documentaries of some of the obstacles that these migrants faced, and interestingly some places like FAARC controlled Colombia were sympathetic towards migrants and helped them along.

If smaller European countries were to look at the larger situation, they could use this to their advantage by working together with Turkey. Migrants are only interested in reaching a few countries namely UK, Germany, France, Netherlands, Denmark, and Scandinavian countries.

Those same big countries like Germany have massive debts hanging over the heads of poorer EU countries like Spain, Greece, and Balkan states.

How could poorer EU benefit from this situation, think about it.
