On Friday, May 29 through Friday, June 5, 2015, held at the Air Base Tanta, Egypt, exercise «Houras 2015», with the participation of forces of the air forces of Greece - Egypt, in the implementation of the Military Cooperation Program 2015 two countries.

The Air Force participated with representatives from four 4 M-2000-5 aircraft and proportionate personnel 331M.

During exercise performed interception missions and aerial combat in mixed formations.

Egypt want to learn Greek experience with Mirage 2000. Right now only Greek use this plane in battle field and if I am not wrong has 1 kill against F16. AA shot.

The EAF has always had strong ties with the HAF, even during the SCAF and Morsi administrations when Egypt and Turkey had a warm relationship.

This will only add to their nerves after the three party treaty over maitime borders and gas rights in the Med which excluded them.

Turkey itself suffered from many coups in the past, AKP struggled and dealt with the coup instigators from day one which is a good thing.

You make no sense as ignoring the coup in egypt would be hypocrite to say the least because at home Turkey (Erdogan) struggled against coup, standing against dictators like assad/gaddafi and then according to you it should just remain neutral and have normal ties with sisi regime, betraying close ally Morsi.



You live in Netherlands (democracy), you probably criticize Erdogan day and night calling him Dictator etc while here you want normal ties with a tyrant, a true dictator like Sisi without any shame..

Also no doubt Turkish people will make sure to have Erdogan for atleast another decade

First Erdogan will not go, second why would we work with Egypt after this cooperation? So erdogan bashing al sisi, this doensn't means they can act with greeks against us for gas fields.

NO, all the recent moves and weapon deals especially with Cyrpus and Greece / sisi regime are clear provocations/agressions against Turkey

Although I'm not a fan of Erdogan, however, this move will be perceived as a threat by Republic of Turkey. Turkish people rarely forget, and this particular move by Egypt in the backdrop of gas-games in the Med will imprint on the psychology of Turkish people.

Whatever the case, Turkey is a military behemoth, Egypt + Greece are totally irrelevant from the PoV of Turkish threat perception!
