Greatest Persians in history

Will you people stop making off topic posts? Why do you always have to mess up threads?

Anyway, as I already said I missed out the great Persian scientists on purpose because there are simply too many of them.
I added a few poets though.

.
What was Persian about Shah Ismail and Nader Shah? If the thread title was "Greatest Iranians in history", it could be understood to some degree, but the thread title is referring to Persian ethnic group.

Stupid clown. Iranian and Persian means exactly the same thing. we been calling our country Iran for thousands of years, Iran means land of the aryans and the name Iran is from avestan, the Ancient Persian language used for religion of Zoroastrianism. we have thus also been calling ourselves Iranian. greeks were the ones who called us Persians.
I don't expect a brainwashed retard in fakebaijan to understand that.

Let me guess, you're also going to claim now that your country is not Persian in origin? You country was created after Iran gave you to the soviets and now you have been brainwashed into thinking you're europeans. even the Kurds have more dignity and honour than you low lifes.

Azerbaijan (Persian for Land of fire) belongs to Iran, some Zoroastrian temples are even there which pre date any one of your fake- self created history by longer than you can count.

. . . .
If Iranians are not Muslims, then I refuse to respect them. For all i care they are like Hindus.

Only Iranians who you should not respect are the atheists who talk mad sht although they are few and usually only do so online. Do not take them seriously yaar. Most Iranians who read their history without putting on the glasses of Arab contempt will see that their forefathers actually embraced Islam and were proud Muslims who compiled Islamic literature, loved the Arab language, brought about Sufism, nurtured our greatest scholars Imam Muslim/ Imam Bukhari, influenced Islam in the subcontinent, spread Islam to the Turks, influenced all of Central Asia, established many of the Islamic sciences, and overthrew the Ummayads when they became utterly corrupt and established the Abbasid caliphate.

Hadith about the Persians- Abu Huraira reported: We were sitting in the company of Allah’s Apostle (may peace be upon him) that Sura al-Jumu’a was revealed to him and when he recited (these words):” Others from amongst them who have not yet joined them,” Then a person amongst them (those who were sitting there) said: Allah’s Messenger...! But Allah’s Apostle (may peace be upon him) made no reply, until he questioned him once, twice or thrice. There was amongst us Salman al Farisi (The Persian). The Apostle of Allah (may peace be upon him) placed his hand on Salman and then said: Even if ilm were near the Pleiades, a man from amongst these (Persians) would surely find it. By force you mean? Islam was spread by the sword, and if they had come peacefully, without trying to convert Iranians by force or demand large amount of taxes, most Iranians would not have converted. Our religion at that time was more culturally developed than Islam was.

and were proud Muslims who compiled Islamic literature.

They also wrote about drinking wine, gay seks and other non-Islamic things. We were never extremists.

loved the Arab language.

Yes, we loved Arab language so much that we eventually kicked it out of Iran. Ferdowsi and the Shubiyya movement eventually saved Persian language, and we thank those men forever!

brought about Sufism.

Sufism was a Persian 'invention'. Thats because we already had a spiritual past, long before the muslims came to Iran. Arabs didn't had those spiritual elements within their culture.

nurtured our greatest scholars Imam Muslim/ Imam Bukhari, influenced Islam in the subcontinent, spread Islam to the Turks, influenced all of Central Asia, established many of the Islamic sciences, and overthrew the Ummayads when they became utterly corrupt and established the Abbasid caliphate.

We aren't proud of Bukhari. He was a deluded and conservative figure. No need to praise that man. The rest is partially true.

There was amongst us Salman al Farisi (The Persian). The Apostle of Allah (may peace be upon him) placed his hand on Salman and then said: Even if ilm were near the Pleiades, a man from amongst these (Persians) would surely find it. Book 31 Number 6178

So?

So? We aren't proud of Salman either.

300 years before all of Iran was converted, was that force?? The Arabs must have sucked at forcing you guys than, consider that it took 2 years to completely invade and take over Persia 642-644 yet 300 to "forcefully" convert you guys... Who are you trying to fool with that BS? Even modern scholars do not peddle forth that bs you can do some research only 10% of Iranians converted to Islam during the Ummayad Caliphate. The rest of the conversions took place during the Abbasid and Samanid periods with little influence from the Arabs, yet you were forced? LOL You realize the taxes are also collected from Muslims although the rulers can only use that tax on the poor?? Of course you do not because if you had than you would know that it would be in the best interest of the Ummayad's to let you guys worship your religion because only the tax collected from the non Muslims can be used by the rulers and history tells us how much money meant to the Ummayads. Modern historians agree with this and say that the Ummayads did not promote Islam for this very reason.

[There are a number of historians who see the rule of the Umayyads as setting up the "dhimmah" to increase taxes from the dhimmis to benefit the Arab Muslim community financially and by discouraging conversion.[5] Mass conversions were neither desired nor allowed, at least in the first few centuries of Arab rule[6][7] Conversion to Islam occurred mainly among the merchant class and the bureaucracy, as Iranians from those segments of society sought to retain their positions.]

This is from Wikipedia, the sources are listed at the bottom but of course you are blinded by your hate for Muslims so I doubt you will accept it. The rest of your posts about Sufism, Bukhari, and Salman is laughable posturing and doesn't prove a thing.

You want to see forced conversions read up on this, this is called forced conversions.

You funny bro. Speak to the Parsis in India about forced conversions. They eventually left because of those Arab hordes.

This is the extent of the Sassanids, as you can see they were well entrenched in the Levant and it is well documented how they had countless wars against the Byzantine which for the most part took place in the Levant and the Arabian Peninsula. They had no problem conquering others yet these Atheists Iranians can be found crying about being defeated all over the internet, hypocritical fools need to get over it. They forget that they were essentially autonomous under the Samanid Empire yet remained proud Muslims, hey Surenas you guys were led by Persians why didn't you guys drop Islam than??? Was it Arabs who forced the Shah out in 1979 as well??

.
What about these guys Surenas, they were Persian why didn't they drop Islam first chance they got??
