The demise of Jang Group and anti-state media houses

The Jang Group has been cut to size. Their tale of treachery is long but in the last decade they alleged DG ISI for an attack on Hamid Mir, ran mass mobilisation campaigns to further international agendas in Pakistan and blame security agencies for harbouring terrorists when the Nation needed to back them to eliminate it. The group also supported Mian Nawaz Sharif when he was under trial in the supreme court to undermine the judicial process.

An unwanted state within the state that had significant influence from India has lost efficacy to work against the state. Alhamdolillah.

Greatest Moments

1) Operation Zarb-e-Azb launched in 2014 was the turning point of Pakistan in this decade. The terrorism issue was solved finally under the great leadership of Gen Raheel Shareef.

2) MQM terrorism was finally put to an end by Pak Army again under the leadership of Gen Raheel Shareef who rid Karachi from Altaf/MQM terror. And this operation was led to its successful conclusion later under Gen Bajwa.

3) 27 Feb was one of the greatest moments of this decade as well as PAF downed one Mig 21 and one SU 30 of India.

4) Pakistan winning Champions Trophy in 2017 by beating India in the final was also one of the greatest moments of this decade and certainly the greatest moment in our cricketing history after Pakistan won the World Cup in 92.

5) Nawaz Sharif disqualification was also one of the greatest moments of this decade.

Lowest Moments

1) Abottabad Operation was certainly one of the most humiliating moments of this decade and in our history.

2) APS terrorist attack was the lowest moment of this decade. It was one of the most painful moment of our history. And we have yet to take revenge from India for this terrorist attack. We must never ever forget that.

Razia (Pseudo name) identity protected, is Pakistan's first female sniper instructor attached to the Anti Terrorist Squad of Islamabad Police, Razia has not only trained female and male counterparts, she has seen action supporting Punjab police on intelligence based operations and is qualified from the US State Department - ICITAP program in Pakistan.

Deeba Shahnaz Akhter, was the first ever female rescue instructor and first ever female district emergency officer in Rescue 1122, Pakistan.

Head constable Rafia Qaseem Baig, Pakistan's first female EOD technician. Rafia's courage has gone on to inspire other women to join the BDS/EOD units of their police service.

Samina Baig, first female climber from Pakistan to conquer mount Everest.

Major General Nigar Johar Khan is a Pakistani two-star general in the Pakistan Army, she is one of three female generals in the history of Pakistan Army. With Major General (retd) Shahida Malik being the first.

Fouzia Fayyaz is Pakistan's first ever female diplomat to Saudi Arabia.

Zainab Abbas is the first female Pakistani sports presenter for the Cricket World Cup.

Anita Karim is Pakistan's first female MMA fighter, representing Pakistan in the OWS series.

Helena Saeed is the first female Additional Inspector General of Police.

2013 saw the first group of female paratroopers complete training and pass out to join their male counterparts in the service of their country.

I think I'll go first and it may actually win the poll.

My entry for greatest moment for Pakistan;

PAF beating the IAF in a straight fight.

In one go the bravado and boasting of the Indian nationalists was taken away. The sanghis cried tears all night and made up a story (F-16 loss) to compensate their humiliation.
One Mig-21 gone, one MI-17 gone and the IAF in complete disarray.
Just great.

Dear brother,

Though not a Pakistani by birth but a strong believer of Pakistan ideology.

To me it was Zarb e Azb and subsequent measures taken by Pak security forces that untimely restored peace in Pakistan, Alhumdulillah.

I see great things happening for Pakistan under the leadership of IK. I’m very much convinced that Pakistan will become a great nation in this decade in sha Allah.
