Great Wall of Ukraine

What are they going to do with whatever industry they have left after the war when they have NO ONE to trade with, no financial system of their own, no one in the international community of countries other than Russia willing to deal with Donbass. Donbass should be renamed 'dumbass' since they have sacrificed their future for some wet dream of reliving some past Russian glory. Ukraine is recognized internationally all over the world, no one gives a damn about Donbass.

You are dreaming quite a bit if you think Ukrainians and Polish will go to Donbass to work when Donbass is in ruins and Donbass residents will soon start dying out of starvation and unemployment - it will be Donbass people trying to go to work in Ukraine and Poland.

Do tell me whatever it is that you are smoking...
I wrote that the Ukrainians will go to work not only to Poland or Russia, but also to the Donbass, read carefully. Buy the way - the Poles from the border villages go to work to Kaliningrad. Even now, after the fall of the ruble do. Many people prefer to work on their specialty in Kaliningrad than to be plumbers or prostitutes in London.
Donbass - is about 30% of foreign exchange earnings of the former Ukraine. Even Ukraine buy Donbass coal through illegal schemes.
Bank system already been established. National mobile operator "Phoenix" recently start working in a test mode. Cadastral system, passports, utilities, ministries - everything is already established. The legislative framework is gradually synchronized with the Russian one. Ruble actively displaces the hryvnia.
Russian companies buy products from factories of Donbass - because it is very, very cheap.

Kaliningrad didn't go through war just now. Quit making false equivalence arguments, it won't get you anywhere. Where exactly are Donbass folks going to go on a Donbass passport besides Russia and may Belarus? NOWHERE since NO ONE recognizes Donbass. In today's globalized world, you can have your independence and lick it till you starve and die unless you have international recognition. Russia is already reeling from Western sanctions. Goodluck continuing to pretend Donbass will have rivers of milk and honey flowing by trading only with Russia. Clearly you need to buy Idiots Guide to Economics and Trade with a chapter on Globalization. And a handbook for International Recognition and Legitimacy.

This state is only 1 year old. Many states have sought recognition for decades. Some remain unrecognized until now.
Nobody promise rivers of milk.
I'll tell you a story told by a man a few days ago. He is from Kharkov, a specialist of Kharkov Turbine Works ("Turboatom").
In recent years, the plant thrived. In the USSR, there were only two such plants - in Kharkov and in Leningrad. Leningrad orients mostly in export orders, Kharkov built turbines mostly for the Soviet Union.
However, last 10-15 years "Rosatom" received so many export orders that Leningrad was unable to cope. Part of the export orders went to Kharkov.
Works for decades. Continued growth in wages, confidence in the future. This was the Kharkov turbine factory just 2 years ago.
You know what is now there? 2.5 thousand people dismiss, professionals in their field. Do you know where they went to? To Russia.
And sush a sad reality is true almoust for every major industrial enterprises of Ukraine.
And you know nothing but that ugly lies that corrupt media feeding you.
Ukraine was among the world top 15 industrialized states in the Soviet times. But after the "Revolt of the Apes" (Maidan) Ukraine is rapidly becoming a banana republic.

OP as always keeps posting Kiev propaganda here.Great Wall  ...Laughing so hard right now.Where are the money for the previous "Great Wall" OP? Of course you do not know-money has been stolen from "our man" Yats&Co.The same fate will have the money(where they will come from btw-stealing pension funds and people private bank accounts maybe?) for the new "Great Wall" .Well I will not be surprise if something might be build up eventually...to keep Ukranians inside as USA cannon fodder.

This Indian guy works hard (see the amount of posts cheering Washington) for the green card, you know. It's kind of advance payment till he gets the visa and residence permit in the US.

Either way, NATO already won
Erm better wake up and stop dreaming!Chance of your beloved Ukraine ever joining NATO(North Atlantic Terrorist Organization) is exactly zero. There will be no membership neither in NATO nor in EU for Ukraine.Well of course you are free to keep dreaming.Speaking about day-time dreams.I suggest you to educate yourself and find which EU politician equaled Ukraine/Georgia/Moldova membership to a dream at latest summit in Riga .

Lol, truth seems to disagree with you

Poroshenko: Ukraine to Apply to Join EU in 2020

Most Europeans want Ukraine to join the EU

Ukraine sets sights on joining NATO| Reuters

http://www.nato.int/cps/en/natohq/topics_37750.htm

Most important of all - NATO own website report that they are ready to concede some term to allow Ukraine, Georgia and Moldove join NATO, according to the NATO website publication

http://www.nato.int/cps/en/natohq/topics_37750.htm

Seems like the only news saying Ukraine could not join NATO is Russia, which have no alternational power to NATO at all. lol

You do know NATO can alter its charter to expel or allow any country to join right? To begin with, Poland, Albania, Lithuania, Latvia, Turkey and Romania were not even in North Atlantic , and how the hell it ended up in NATO member? You tell me.

Truth...such nice word not existing in your dictionary. There will be no membership neither in EU nor in NATO for your beloved Ukraine same goes for Georgia and Moldova..Of course you are free to keep dreaming.Since you obviously have problems-let me make it clear for you. There is a difference between talk/promises/dreams and reality.

lol, whatever you say.......

Well, your version of truth is that, Ukraine, after being forcefully separated by Russian backed Rebel would somehow happily return to the Russian sphere of interference. Well, you may want to actually go to Ukraine from Bulgaria and ask any Ukrainian how they think of your view of "Truth".

And you say my view on Ukraine is joining EU absurd. lol

But hey, free thought and all.

Seriously no one cares about Ukraine. Small and weak state. No technology.

Border protection equipment for sure will be placed near the border which Ukraine is working on. :)

So once again how is that connected with your "Great Wall Of Ukraine" ?And before I continue a piece of reality for you and your employers- all of the equipment will be used at West Ukraine border to stop illegal immigrants coming in EU.So why not deliver some news about the wall? What is stopping you eh?Or maybe your employers have forbidden you to cover once again their theft?
The project was announced 12.06.2014 and was about building heavily fortified almost 2 000 km line.In reality money have been stolen and here-there have been build block-posts,trenches and anti-tank trenches.Official MoD of Ukraine for 2014 in province of Sumy - for 2014 despite "hard-work" (understand hard work stealing the money) were build 28 block-houses,3km trenches,20 km anti-tank trenches and 30 something. In Kharkov actually there 3 different projects(x1 of Border Patrol,MoD and local governor-more avenues to steal money). Run the link via translator if do not know Russian.Btw the site is OK source for Ukrainian news unlike lies, fakes and propaganda of OP.

The private airplane pilots in Kyiv protecting Ukraine's borders - watch on - uatoday.tv
UT Special Report: The operations aims to prevent smuggling and other suspicious activity

At this small airfield near the Ukrainian capital, owners of private planes are helping Ukrainian border guards monitor the country's boundaries from the skies. The initiative is in its second year and aims to crackdown on any suspicious activity to the authorities - anything from smuggling prohibited goods to 'little green men', a nickname first given to masked armed men without insignia who invaded Ukraine's Crimea peninsula last March.

Before taking off on today's mission, our pilot, Oleksandr, presents us with a short pre-flight briefing outlining the route. This is no job for Google maps - exact coordinates are arranged with the border authorities ahead of the four and a half hour trip. We're hoping to fly around 700-800 kilometers, mainly in areas near the crossings into Ukraine's neighbours in the north, Belarus and Russia.

After pulling the small aircraft out of the hanger, a quick inspection, then takeoff.

Almost immediately after takeoff, a suspicious-looking blue coloured car is spotted speeding down a dirt track. This time, a false alarm. After a quick call, it turns out just to be a local farmer.

From the skies, signs of Ukraine strengthening its border with Russia are obvious. Observation towers, warning signs and kilometers of ditches filled with water can be seen from the air.

Next we fly along the Ukrainian-Belarusian border where we spot some suspicious activity below. It's instantly reported to state border guards on the ground.

Afterwards, we patrol part of Ukraine's Dnipro River, often used by people on boats to smuggle goods into the country.

For pilot Oleksandr, he feels like patrolling Ukraine's borders is his part in broader efforts to protect the territory and enforce the law in the country.

We also spoke with Russian native and Kremlin critic Yuri, the man who organises the air patrols along the border.
