Boning part I don't see the problem if there is nothing illegal, but since when does eating meat become illegal though?
Its not illegal..its a personal choice and life style decision...but contrary to popular perception majority of Indians are non-veg even though they stay away from beef particularly cow-meat.

Eating meat is not illegal..........the thread started with misinformation

1] Meat selling shops are rampant in India
2] Licensed sale of Beef is allowed in north for non veg people and very common in south
3] I have eaten noveg in delhi in KFs mcdonalds dominos or anyother non veg restaurant !!
4] kebab and tandoor shops are in every nook and corner.........

But Most hindus i know prefer Veg....Religious thing.................

. . . .
its not MCD becomes all veg in india, its just their one branch selling only veg fast food near a sikh temple and that also to respect the morals of the holy place of the sikh community.
By the way MCD have just launched their new non-veg product MacEgg. And chicken magrills are really popular all over india

That I can respect, but what I can not stand is that once around some vegs, they force their choice and belief onto you and think you eating meat is something utterly disgusting.

Mcdonald's food in US is equivalent to greasy ****. LOL

If i dint know people from your side going for chicken burgers i would have trusted your statement

Oh, I've had "strict" Hindu friends that hide the fact that they love NYC street gyros from their friends/family.

Probably because of the animal fat they put into it, I doubt that happens in India though....and the thread title is so lame..what the F has being secular got to do with Mcdonalds menu near the Golden Temple?, it's similar to them avoiding including pork near an Arab Mosque.

Don't you think they also cannot stand a meat eater along side them.
