Exactly, tourism could be huge for the Saudi economy and it will be eventually!! The new generation is very liberal compared to the older one, and expect Saudi Arabia to change dramatically very soon!! The red sea coast is one of the world top water and the weather is great!!!
"There are plenty of untapped opportunities to promote tourism through the 1,300 islands in the Kingdom's waters. While 1,150 of them are in the Red Sea and 150 in the Arabian Gulf, only 405 have distinct names and been surveyed by the Saudi Geological Society," said a member of the JCCI Tourism Committee Khaled Fahd Al-Harthy.

Also I really hope that a bridge will be made between KSA and Egypt as once planned. Both parties must make it official though and start the project. It would be great.
