Why Afghans shouldnt be thankful to India for this dam?

You have tendencies of being traitor to land and sell out, even other pashtuns say this. A part from that I don't know anyone is insecure at all. Its just that afghanis start to dream of unthinkable when ever we show some sympathy. But we can't control their delusions can we?

We thank the government of India and the Indian people for constructing this dam in difficult security situation.

As for protecting the dam the ANSF has protected it while the Talib bitches put their best efforts in thwarting the project and paid with their blood and it will be there for years to come, which makes your statement kinda condescending to the blood of those ANSF who protected it so far.

They don't have to outright destroy it, they just need to make it inoperable, which is quite possible.
