Granting citizenship to Afghan refugees is Pakistan’s internal matter – UNHCR

Anti Pakistan/Pakistan army Afghan are in vast majority.
The Afghan state in the form of Tajik Northern Alliance with their sell out Pakhtuns has used it's power to gel that hatred into the Afghan pysche since 2001. However Taliban still dominate large parts of Afghanistan. All this will change once US leaves Afghanistan and power balance shifts back to Taliban who are in fact the representatives of the Pakhtuns in Afghanistan. Not saying Afghanistan will become Turkey but things will reset and then it is for Pakistan to leverage over time to gain influence. our geography, our kinship dictates this. The Indian love affair by some by the ruling NUG has no geographic or historical or ethnic basis. It will vapourise ....

Why was Afghanistan the only country who voted against the admission of Pakistan in UN in 1947? There were no taliban back then right?
Indeed. The situation is akin to the Irish and British. They are two peas in the podf. Irish citizens have automatic right to British passports. All they got to do is catch a boat to Liverpool from Dublin. However the Irish state still retains a claim on Ultster.

Afghanistan did treat Pakistan badly at its inception and Afghna nationalist did try to break it up in 1947 to 1963 and then again from 1973 to 1979 which forced Pakistan to interfere in Afghanistan . That is a reality. Just blaming Pakistan for all ills in Afghnaistan is not right. I also have no problem with Afghan getting Pakistani nationality if they give up their hate, arrogance/racism and anti army sentiments and start respecting Pakistan ir Pakistani people and when i say Pakistani peopel then it dont mean just Pakistani Pashtun but all ethnic groups

Whether in 50 or 500 years, there will DEFINITELY be a merger between Afghanistan and Pakistan. We should prepare ourselves for this inevitability. We are far too close to the Afghans and have had over 5000 years of shared history, DNA, culture and heritage with them. But some Afghans SERIOUSLY need to drop their anti-Pakistani attitude.

Anjem Chaudry, Hasib Hussain, Shezad Tanweer etc from the British Pakistani community have been responsible for planting bombs in London. Does this and other acts of terrorism mean that entire British Pakistani community in UK should be tarnished with the same brush? Millions of mohajirs consistently have voted for designated terrorist and gangster party aka MQM and it's leader has said in India that Pakistan is a 'mistake'. Does that mean we should screw every Mohajir in Karachi?

This all goes back to 1980s Aghan jihad and our support for some groups and being rather cold to others - specifically Ahmed Shah Masood's NA. Abdulah Abdulah was a lieutenant of Shahg Masood. They hated Pakistan even in 1980s. Our support for Taliban merely reniforced thart hatred in 1990s.

Unfortunately that commando, Musharaf handed Afghanistan over to NA who then infected that hatred for Pakistan in the new Kabul dispensation. Over time they have co-opted some sell out Pakhtuns to give the veneer of NUG that has been ruling Kabul since 2001. Prior to that the only Indian is Kabul was a dead indian or hijacked Indian.

Don't forget this. And Taliban continue to be partial toward Pakistan which is why our security establishment is soft on them. In short Pakistan helped to instal Indian loving NA in Kabul in 2001 who hated Pakistan to the core. That has been resonating from Kabul since then.

Those retarded, low IQ HT supporters are even more anti-Pakistani than indians are. I had a huge bust up with a Hizb-Ut-Tahrir sympathizer only last week. He was of Pakistani origin too..........:disagree:

citizenship should be given to refugees if they are ready to become a loyal servant of Pakistan and only Pakistan by oath and after that death should be given to every oath breakers

What you need to understabnd is that Afghanistan is what Afghans accuse us of. A artificial entity. Afghan in it's original sense meant Pakhtuns. It excludes majority of Afghans. That is Tajiks, Mongol Hazara, Nuristani, Turkmen, Uzbeks to name a few. Indeed in Afghan documentation there has been uproar that Tajiks, Turkmen etc need to be classified as separate ethnic groups. In addition Afghan geography is literally split in two entirely divided zones. The Hindu Kush and Parapamisus mountains crack Afghanistan in half.

The Afghanistan south of Hindu Kush is geographically part of the Indus Basin. Kabul valley drains into Kabul River which flows into Pakistan and joins Indus at Attock. Most of this Afghanistan is Pakhtun majority and it's destinyb is with Pakistan. People in Karachi can croak all they like but K-Pk is lkiterally welded into this region and it's economic future is vested there. Therefore Afghanistan long term future is with Pakistan. Peshawar and Kabul will one day have motorway linking them where you can have your breakfast in Peshawar and lunch in Kabul. Trade and people will flow like they do between Paris and Germany today despite historey of wars in the last century.

I have interacted with many Afghan refugees in Pakistan, you really cannot tell them apart unless you hear their accent or they are wearing a special attire. The new generation of Afghan refugees know no other country than Pakistan and I have never considered them any different to other Pakistanis.

Thousands of illegal Bangladeshi immigrants arrived in Pakistan in the 1980s, while Bangladesh was battling extreme poverty.[3] By 1995, continuous migration of Bangladeshis crossed the 2,500,000 mark. During the administration of Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto, some top advisers became concerned with the large Bangladeshi migrant population, afraid they could become the second largest group in Karachi after Urdu-speaking Muhajir people and disturb sensitive demographics. Accordingly, Bhutto ordered a crackdown and deportation on Bangladeshi immigrants. Benazir Bhutto's action strained and created tensions in Bangladesh–Pakistan relations, with Khaleda Zia, who was in power in Dhaka during the time, refusing to accept the deportees and reportedly sending two planeloads back towards Pakistan and Muslim political parties in Pakistan criticising Bhutto and dubbing the crackdown as anti-Islamic. She was ultimately forced to abandon the order.[4][5]
Many of these Bengalis have since then been granted citizenship, if Bengalis can be granted citizenship, then why not Afghans, who are significantly more connected and related to this soil than Bengalis.

Disintegration of Afghanistan is unavoidable in the future, they are far too ethno-culturally divided to sustain a stable state.

It is better that these ethnic groups be united with their respective 'motherlands'.

Uzbek, Turkmen, Tajik regions should go to Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Tajikistan respectively. Baloch, Dard and Pashtun regions should go to Pakistan. Western Farsi-speaking Shia regions should go to Iran. This is the only viable solution I see to this mess.

What you need to understabnd is that Afghanistan is what Afghans accuse us of. A artificial entity.
Right on, this point here needs to be more highlighted.

They claim us to be an artificial state, even though our native ethnic groups are found in overwhelming majority within Pakistan, while it is the opposite for Afghanistan, in fact, their main ethnic groups all have a corresponding ethno-state/province except for the Hazaras.

Pakistan shall devise an immigration system, specifically designed for refugees. The ones born here, with certain education and skill sets shall be entertained, of course with thorough background checks. Any political affiliations back in Afghanistan, or anyone involved in disruption of peace in Pakistan/anti state activities shall be denied right away. It's practically impossible to make 2+ million refugees to return. Especially the ones born and raised in Pakistan. Only way forward is a very specific policy based immigration plan with extremely high vetting process.

This will give them a way forward; educated workforce will be streamlined and will make Pakistan more secure.

I agree with the idea of granting citizenship to those born in Pakistan, but the problem is primarily going to be opposition from Baloch and Sindhi nationalists who have vociferously opposed this proposal because they're more concerned about weakening the nationalist vote bank. The PPP may not be a Sindhi Nationalist party in practice (though it threatens to roll out that card on occasion) but it depends a lot on the Sindhi vote in Sindh and therefore has its own reasons for opposing any such proposal.

Balochistan especially, with a significant existing Pashtun population, would see the largest demographic change from granting citizenship to Afghan refugees.

Foreign Legion - France
The Gurkhas or the Foreign Legion are not primarily comprised of individuals with ties to a country that hates the country of service, as is the case with Afghanistan/Afghans and Pakistan.

Afghanistan continues to refuse to accept the Pakistan-Afghanistan border and many Afghans believe in merging, at the least, Pakistani pashtun areas into Afghanistan. An Afghan version of the 'foreign legion/Gurkhas' in Pakistan would potentially be much more problematic than the Gurkhas or Foreign Legion.

Additionally, creating a unique military unit for naturalized Afghans would only serve to solidify a distinct identity for them, rather than help them assimilate as Pakistani Pashtun with origins from Afghanistan.

Therefore there needs to be a lot more Pakistani/Afghan intermarriages. It's happens a lot here in London mind you.

You make some valid points but I think still think it is a good idea. Don't forget those who hate Pakistan would not join such a unit.

Yep. And yes you are right. Paris has fallen. To Africans. While they all talk about the Islamic threat the groids are slowly taking over everything. Guns, knives, machetes, mugging, hip pop, jeans hanging down the as*s, ugly bubbly women twerking their bulbous backsides soon will be high civilization with all women wanting to find grod aka Kardashian.

They say one they go black they never go back. Truth is once threy go black their offspring take generations to go back to resembling higher order human beings.

Lol..................So true. Every White French woman seems to have a black-African child in Paris. Richard Spencer and Millenial Woes were complaining about this not long ago...................In all seriousness, Lahore City and Kotli in Pakistan look more like White European Cities than Paris does nowadays.

PS Have you noticed how most White French girls in Paris try to imitate black females........
