Govt. seeks action report on IITs’ "tamsic" food

HOW should he control the media? Last time it happened during Indira Gandhi's time, and people of India were not amused. It is more pragmatic to control those who are constantly providing fodder to the media, and provide quick rebuttal to the wrong reports of mainstream media. But some loud mouths are not even giving any opportunity for credible rebuttal other than hiding in shame.

In a country of 1.2 billion people it is not hard to look for "fodder" . Its rather easy to twist and turn someone's comments to make it look sensationalist. Its what the Media does because gullible people like you believe it. And not to mention majority of these comments come from the likes of VHP and Bajrang Dal which have nothing to do with the govt. or BJP or RSS...

And a major contributor to an united opposition and frequent controversies are the statements from those elements.

You are like a broken Tape Recorder repeating the same thing again and again. Do you have a reading disability or are you incapable of comprehending English ? How many times should i answer this question. What will you do if someone takes your comments out of context, publically shames you and then ignores anything you say in your defense.

True, if only the HRD ministry didn't found the idiotic letter of that grain trader worthy enough to forward to the directors of all the 16 IITs and ask for 'action taken report'!

Now RSS has problem with non-veg food served in IIT-Roorkee.

yeah, we have to be vigilant against the far right but for now, in his first "make or break" term, I don't think modi will dare push any of this VHP social agenda bs.. next few years should be a "honeymoon" period.. pro business, more away from socialist/commie policies, assertive with pakistan... and generally good for everyone here.

I hope he doesn't become like a VHP 'sultan' in his second innings (so far i'm pretty sure that he will continue after the next general elections)
