Govt plans all-weather fencing along LoC

Obviously Indian Home Ministry babus have no idea of the Kashmir terrain. They can only build fence in places which infiltrators would normally avoid. And how about the Kashmiris living within?
but u seem to have a full knowledge about which route the terrorist woud arrive how???:lol::lol:

.
Ya but those fences cost a lot of money. Your government has to divert that money from the poor. More people will die due to starvation and suicide and more children will remain malnourished which is around 44% now in India, more Indians will defecate open which is around 51% now, more children will remain without immunisation which is around 40% now.

Very sad indeed.
Such a pathetic reply by a senior memb4er. BTW if you care so much about our poor and children, why not stop entering India. That will be good start.

Stop making these type of arguments if you don't have relevant info to post. Leave this dirt for other trolls.

India’s social welfare spending (equating to 70 billion pounds) has helped lift 60 million people out of poverty and that it will continue to liaise with the country on poverty reduction.

Hey guys whenever you see Asad or Iadjani in an Indian post, they are only here to derail the thread. So ignore and need be, report. Don;t pay attention to his lies and BS.

True , but we can always hire illegal bangladeshis to build the fence for free. They will do it I tell you. Just threaten them with deportation , and they'll be ready to work on the fence for free. Much better than going back to their dirty slum in dhaka.

The Wagah and the LOC are well fenced. They are now making tunnels to come into India for illegal drug trade in Punjab. That's a different matter and I think BSF should start taking more ruthless measures in the western sector. The wanton destruction of Punjab's youth consuming drugs from Afghanistan is causing a problem.

However, the government needs to focus on eastern borders. LAC is calm but there's illegal trade through the mountains that happens apart from of course the usual friction between IA and PLA. There is also problem at Burmese border where though Burmese Army is friendly, there is a lot of trafficking problem of drugs, arms and other illegal materials.

The MOD needs to lay out a comprehensive strategic plan to fence out all the borders with the countries that we border: Pakistan, China, Bangladesh, Burma and water demarcation with the Lankans.

Apart from this, it is crucial that the Nepal-India and Bhutan India border be monitored better to reduce any chances of kidnappers and arms traffickers as well as naxalites.

While the OPEN BORDERS treaty is fine with both the countries and they're welcome, Nepal's policy of open flow for tourism from countries like Pakistan and Bangladesh creates a problem as Nepal border becomes an easy entry point. We may need to fence these borders as well with only some legal check points from where trade and tourism can peacefully flourish and there is peace between us Nepalis and Bhutanese people.

Proper policing, patrolling and procedures along with SOPs to deal with contingent situations hve to be put in place so as to ensure that the borders are peaceful.

First of all we need an extensive SAM network in NE ,if air superiority is gained any attack will be bloodily repulsed.Posting of akash squadrons is a good step. Now we need some heavy hitters like s-400.

You're thinking in very very long term my friend.

Here, we're practically starkers with only soldiers acting as a border. It sucks big time because of GOI's callous attitude of the babus sitting in Delhi.

Those traitors don't realize how precarious the situation is and choose to close their eyes.

Why do we have so many idiots on PDF? The mental hollowness of some people is just breathtaking!

I wonder what an all weather fencing has to do with open defecation??

Oh Lord! Please deliver us from such unadulterated crap!

shering, the hands of govt. are tied, Chinese don't recognize Mcmohan line as the International border, so fencing those border will only result in friction & may be a short war with the Chinese which we don't want. But if u are talking about the Bangladesh & Myanmar border, than yes thats the way to go.

Government's hands are not tied; they don't have the guts to stand up for what is rightfully ours. They don't want to start a conflict and that is not because we don't have enough materials or men to take care of the communists. It is simply because a conflict will mean that UPA cannot continue doing its scams and all that money which could be up Sonia Gandhi's rear in Swiss accounts, will have to be forced to be used in the conflict.

China will tomorrow stop recognizing Bangalore and Chennai and Mumbai as Indian.

Does that mean that this pathetic excuse of a government will put them also in dotted lines?

Has China given a damn about the rightful claims of other countries? The only reason why it amicably settled issues with the 'stans in CAR is because Russia will bomb CCP to oblivion, if the PLA even touched any of the 'stans.

But if u are talking about the Bangladesh & Myanmar border, than yes thats the way to go.

All borders of our country are to be fenced which is our right.

Rather than saying that government's hands are tied, you should be openly admitting that they are looting India and don't want that money to be put into war. Another reason why the GOI doesn't want conflict is because the politicians' power in case of a conflict will become zero over the Army.

Since the days of 1971, the Congress has a terrible fear of losing control of affairs and fears the military in case they say "no" for anything political.
