Those are CPEC projects he is talking about. ONLY CPEC PROJECTS. How convenient to call it corruption. Those are terms agreed between Pakistan and CHINA. He should have had the balls to call a spade a spade and ask for renegotiation of all contracts executed under CPEC. Instead they launch a NAB inquiry to victimize a political party.That is the truth.

Pakistan does not have jurisdiction to take action against the Chinese. They can only act against the Pakistanis.

There were reports that the Chinese have refused to renegotiate contracts already executed and are only willing to look into contracts which are still to be executed. Point in case ML-1 line contract which is stuck due to cost issues. However all i see in this thread is posters getting desperate to see this thread deleted. However hard you try you can't hide the truth.

Why would any company agree to renegotiate? It is not the fault of the Chinese. I fully support the Chinese in this case.

Exactly. There is a reason why CPEC contracts haven't seen the light of day, cause then they can be compared to others and the truth will be out. How are power plant contracts being kept hidden from Parliament and general public? PTI said they will make em public. What happened to that promise? Sometimes one needs to see through the duplicity.

One more interesting part is that the LNG plants were supposed to bring down the cost but w see the opposite as is clear from the information ministers press conference. It now becomes all the more necessary to see the exact term of the contracts which led to these power plants being built. What was the ROI? Was it a fixed tariff PPA? What are the capacity charges? These are all very important questions.
