Atif Mian is a good person and his tweets on twitter show clear maturity. This person is a cool minded guy and is not making any fuss on Social Media sites. Thats the reason IK chose him at first place. IK always work for the betterment of the country. Mian Atif will get a new post later on in PTI Government.

Dont know why all liberals and Ahmedis crying here ??? Calling every body Extremists lol. :o::o:

I think Imran Khan did not know about religious beliefs of Atif mian when he was feeling proud of his achievement and even wanted to make him as finance Minister :D But knowing religious beliefs of Atif Mian should not invalidate his qualification and skills ..even Jemima was disappointed

Jemima is the only one in his life worth a damn. Absolute jewel at that.

Really hope so, but this episode of caving in and then embolding the jahils in Pakistan is not endearing to optimism nor a sign of commitment for the betterment of Pak.

he didnt even start to work yet============= atif mian----------- stop celebrating before the start of war--------------- wait till the end--------

end of atif mian - is in no way end of pakistan---

stop cry babies

if wishes were horses------- beggers would ride ---

you might be comfortable with the situation Pak is in, but smart ones are not, nor should they be.

Why did he step down? Being an Ahmadi does not preclude anyone from serving in the government. They are citizens of the country, so they can serve at the pleasure of the prime minister as and when desired. Still trying to understand the grounds over which the Mullah party objected.

did Muslims of Pakistan occupy land of qadiyanis or something? did i miss something? how is qadyani issue similar to kashmir or plastine?

You missed the whole point because it flew over your head. Ahmedi issue is similar because the majority is trying to define (land in the case of Kashmir and Palestine) thru lawfare and then oppressing and killing those that refuse to cower down in the face of brutal majoritarianism (occupation in the case of Kashmir and Palestine).

Why did he step down? Being an Ahmadi does not preclude anyone from serving in the government. They are citizens of the country, so they can serve at the pleasure of the prime minister as and when desired. Still trying to understand the grounds over which the Mullah party objected.

Because they went off on a tangent about man-made laws and conspiracies against Islam went it was just a matter of economic advisory from the best Pakistani economist there is in the world. Now Pak also lost the 2nd best Pakistani economist in the world, in Khwaja from Harvard.

now you rolling back :D.

You're taking a dig at the state of education in Pak as a roll back. PhDs in economics, in order to graduate, must publish papers. And he did.

Yes the pressure placed on govt was bad I agree with it. That should have been not the case but this pressure was internal not external.
He is a qualified person for the job I also agree with it but he is not the top person there other better than him but this is no reason for his dismissal he was more than qualified for the job.

The govt placed Pakistan in a difficult position and gave every opposition a chance to bash us. It would have been better that they would have not appointed him in the first place instead of removing him.

His economic policies are good but he is more inclined on the anti-china model because he used all his knowledge in the past to counter china when he was in west. I have only one issue with him which was his CPEC policy.

On the whole this has been a shit show. People here are blaming Imran Khan but this decision was out of Imran Khans hand.

Reports are out there and are available to public already. I was playing with that legend dude. Regarding the reports which USA is demanding those will never be provided no matter what.
Forget anyone will come and work now at the end Govt has to depand on the same old lot Pasha, etc.All western economic ppl don't like China model.

It's nothing but he is an Ahmedi that's all.its not gone well around the world when everyone hopes IK is far better than rest of lot and expect better.

You are deflecting and dodging my points, and parroting same views again and again. You have comprehension problems, bro.

US does not give a shit about CPEC on its own unless WE knock on its door to address our problems. Understand?

Don't drag US into this discussion and use it as a scapegoat to dodge my points. Unfortunately you do not have much counter-argument.

Then don't drag CPEC into this discussion. I understand trying to make a point regarding the makeup of the EAC, but a lot of what you've said is propagandizing.

With all due respect brother, the UK providing free healthcare or education does not have anything to do with letting an individual who's beliefs are contrary to society's being put in a position of power & influence. If Pakistan was a rich country, then we would have free healthcare and education for everyone too.

The UK really doesn't haven't freedom of religion in that sense bro. There is a certain line you have to keep on and if you go off that line then the UK will definitely block you from coming into the country. Just be vocal about homosexuality and if they find out, they'll definitely block you, I think it happened to mufti menk and he got banned from entering. The goray actively protect their culture & morals this way, it is no different to Pakistan.

Bro regardless of how Arabs treat Pakistanis, it is not a justification for us to allow Qadianis into positions of power. Yes the arabs are our brothers in faith and if they mistreat us then Allah will question them about that later. But we hold no such obligation to groups like Qadianis who want to change Islam. They can go get educated and get healthcare, but you know, Qadianis in high political position is a definite no.

Bro, there a difference between a bus driver's children being given education and a man who wants to your change your religion being given a position of influence. Noone here is saying shut down all education for Qadianis, I have not read through all 20+ pages on this thread but I am sure that is not what their thread is about. Sajid Javid and Sadiq Khan are not your every day Muslims and neither do their beliefs match ours. The only reason they are where they are is because they don't have Muslim beliefs such as being anti-homosexuality. If they had Muslim beliefs in those issues then yes their door to politics would've been shut off long ago. The UK is not a paradise where anyone can do anything bro.

I personally don't care if people discriminate against me in or job situation. I do not want to work for people who don't want me there. Also it helps bypass any conflict that would've occurred between me and an employer due to their dislike of me.

Bro, how was Atif Mian being in an advisory role on economics going to change Islam? He still believes that he's Muslim, Pakistan's constitution still calls ahmedis non-Muslims, and the economy is still in dire shits, Bro! Bro your khutba makes no sense, bro.

So who is stopping him from working in those fields. He will continue what he has been doing already.
You are stopping him from helping Pakistan. He'll definitely continue to prosper more than the rest of Pakistanis. Like i said, Pak's loss.

All those who are bashing about Pakistan being against minorities are wrong because Pakistan just opened its borders for religion of minorities. Please look for new churan to sell. :)

So we are now trying to appease, not Pak minorities, but foreigners now? Even more pathetic. This is Pakistani land, and anyone who wishes to come to it must come through the proper channels i.e. wagah border.

Imran Khan is a failure after this disaster of a decision.

He has opened the gates to ISIS and talibanization through Jahil mullahs.

ISIS and talibanization aren't the threats. They are temporary phenomenons that will go away in time. Products of the environment, reactionaries.

Acceptance of stupidity and mediocrity as seen in this episode is the bigger, terminal threat.

A wise decision at the end. I was fearing that foolish people around IK would advise him to 'brave it out' just like all other controversies.
But sense prevailed and PTI responded to the sensitivities of the nation. Nations only progress when they don't comprise their core values to appease others.

I would love to witness the mourning and outrage of the desi liberal and Qadiyani party now. Let it commence [emoji23]View attachment 497126
a very big loss for pakistan.. that man shouldve been allowed to serve his nation... this is another reason mullahs in pakistan need to be caged.

country became a joke . i wish EU west do same with Pakistanis too
all these people cry when something half as bad as this happens to them in the west but then treat pakistanis who are native to pakistan like this..

Who gave you right to call entire nation as being retard ? and BTW if an Ahamedi/ Qadyani is working against the interest of our country he or she must leave the country before being thrown out from here its as simple as that.
what interest was atif working against??
qadianis/ahmedis had a hand in helping to make pakistan weather you like it or not...

It was dumb move to hire him in first place. Not only a Qadyani but famous for attacking Pakistani constitution plus not a Born Qadyani but a convert to Qadyaniat I want to ask who adviced to hire him. When you already have guys in the list who teach at Harvard and other places
Harvard guy also resigned because of the bigotry showered upon the best Pakistan economist in the world, who happens to be an ahmedi.

I am Hopeful the mullah noise will die down and IK will find a way to rope him back in. I think one thing that is lost on most members denouncing IK for this reversal is that this genie was let out of the bottle a couple of decades ago. Now no leader can just stand up and say no to the Mullahs on the issue of khatam-e-naboowat. Just like it has taken years to empower the mullahs, it will take time to disempower them from this narrative of theirs which they freely associate/link up to anything they want their noses involved in.

In such matters, meritocracy has to be followed but the reality on the ground seems to be that if IK sticks to his guns, there will be another march on Isb. Hoping once the noise dies down, something can be worked out to have the right folks on the economic council.

First quadiani don't think theirself as minority but they think rest of us as kafir. Secondly, they're big supporter of Israel. PTI did the right thing, but support voice of most of the nation against few (democratic decision).

This is another problem I have with the Ahmadiyya leadership, besides their proselytizing to Muslims and propaganda against Pakistan worldwide.

إِنَّا لِلّهِ وَإِنَّـا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعونَ

The Constitution of Pakistan discriminates against Non Muslims. From Blasphemy Laws to Evidence Laws (Qanoon e Shahdat), from Hadood Ordinance to Blood Money laws, There are a lot of laws in Pakistan that discriminate against the Non Muslims. Whether it's Education, Inheritance, Marriage, Divorce or Conversion, Pakistani Non Muslims face severe institutionalized religious discrimination.

PS: A very disappointing decision by PTI leadership ...

Where Islam limits expression and places social restrictions, we follow the laws given to us in the Quran and Muhammad saws, our chief law-giver.

famous for attacking Pakistani constitution plus not a Born Qadyani but a convert to Qadyaniat

This is problematic, in itself.

did Muslims of Pakistan occupy land of qadiyanis or something? did i miss something? how is qadyani issue similar to kashmir or plastine?

Ridiculous analogies.

Thank goodness good sense prevailed. PM Imran Khan has taken a good decison politically. All these pro-western scum crying and barking on social media can't do little else publicly. They just want to see a black eye for the mullahs and if there is collateral damage and violence on Pakistani streets they are quite happy for that also. Pathetic tools.

How many doing r*ndi rona here take placards and protest in any place of their choice in Pakistan publicly? PTI should know the pro-western scum [desi liberals] only care to bleed us, they have deep hate for Pakistan. Just like Musharraf [post LAl Masjid], Gilani, Nawaz[oath change;Faizabad] they'll leave them alone in the lurch to fend off for themselves.

Pro-western scum [formerly known as desi liberals] if they are ideological committed, should not use chor darwaza or use someone else to implement their mindset. Come into public and come out of your anonymous social media platforms .

Ameen.

PTI needs to do a proper postmortem as to which individuals were involved within lobbying this man name for this key government position. And deal with them with Iron fist. Atif, through his tweets already made mockery of the constitution of Pakistan and showed his state of mind and agenda. You simply cannot have people in key post who do not agree with the constitution of Pakistan and it's laws, PERIOD. Nothing to do with with anyone belief, all should submit to constitution of Pakistan without any ifs and buts.

I think we are in a slide now and moving towards an Ahmedi genocide. Its a matter of when not if. Punjabis like Indians have a mob mentality and even the Army won't be able to control when the situation lits up. Pakistanis are hell bent on proving Azad right and Jinnnah wrong.

If you are an Ahmedi I would advise you to get yourself and your family out of Pakistan.

This is racist against Punjabi people. Over-reaction by pseudo-liberals.

Ahmadiyya leadership should accept the Pakistan Constitution and stop anti-state activities in and outside Pakistan.

Pakistan is not safe place for minorities U.N should impose sanction on Pakistan unless Pakistan change behavior.

Another Hussain Haqqani in the making. Why not ask US, Israel, and India to bomb Pakistan while you are at it?

Mullahs consider you kafirs but they don't have balls to say it openly and neither state will act against shias.

Both Shias, ithna ashari (traditional) and ismailis (aga khanis) are accepted Muslims. Analogy to Ahmadiyyas is pure manipulation. No Shia has issues with Khatm e Nabuwwat. Shias are loyal to Pakistan and are not lobbying the West against us.

Imran is a mullah himself. He wants to create doctors, engineers and accountants though madrasas. He supports the blasphemy law and look at his wife. Take it as a personal attack or whatever but all these things add up.

Imran is a hypocrite.

Wow...

I hope Imran Khan is deposed... He is a threat to the country. Shame.

...

Imran Khan is no statesmanship material. The French president call episode proved that. Now we have to bear this govt. for another 5 years.

...

This man can always apply for a position the Isreali armed forces; they'll happily accept him. He'll find many of fellow brethren there.

At least 600 Pakistani Ahmadiyyas are in the IDF.

I really respect Jemima Khan, but she doesn't have a right or knowledge to interfere in this conversation as she left Pakistan for the UK.
