A man that is about to get the Nobel Prize for Economics, a patriot that wants to serves his country is treated in such a shameful way. Those who support TLP or any other religious party should be ashamed of them self. Imran should e ashamed. What can you expect from a man who wants to make Doctors, Engineers and Accountants from madrasas.

I am ashamed to call myself a PTI supporter and a Pakistani today. My heart is hurting as we can not respect our citizens. Certain changes need to be made, hell with the blasphemy law and hell with the law that says our minorities are can not become our PM.
Can a State which claims to be Islamic allow her leader to be non Muslim?
The only way that can be is if the State then declares no attachment to Islam.

Pakistani state should not disclose CPEC-related details to potential economic advisors either? How would they address Pakistani economic situation in the absence of a chunk of data?

Public should know what is happening in the name of CPEC to large extent (many are already aware through relevant contacts). How would people extract benefits from CPEC if they are kept in the dark?

Potential investors want to see financial disclosures before they decide to invest in a project. You haven't studied Accounting?

You clearly do not have the answer to my question, posed twice. Shame you want CPEC project to be fully made public yet can't find a single example in the world.

Government's Economic Council should know the details and renegotiations with Chinese are already happening - keep up with news!

Give me an example of investor who would be interested in knowing the contractual terms of CPEC if setting up a factory in Pakistan?

I'll play the accountant. You play an investor who wants to set up a business in Pakistan.

Start.

No doubt corruption is a problem. But IMF a rescuer. Yeah and the pimp is a hero for poor orphan girls....
Bro, this is typical paranoia.

IMF is a professional lending organization; not a charity NGO.

First post that truly highlights the real problem. This government is making certain hasty and poorly researched decisions that will end up backfiring in its face. There seems to be no indepth ideals or analysis on many decisions made. This is possibly due to a non-existence of an analyst culture in the Pakistani governance systems but also in corporate life.
Or insincere advisors to Imran Khan...just being a bit conspiratorial...

So who is stopping him from working in those fields. He will continue what he has been doing already.
They would have been discussing the economics policies even if he remain in advisory council. Economic expert can have different religious beliefs just like abdul salam was great scientist and his personal religious beliefs has nothing to do with his expertise in science because his others co scientist were even atheists or follower of another religion

And the Lord God has prohibited usury and you want Pakistan to go to the most professional money lender the world has ever seen...?
They are Shylocks, they want their pound of flesh, even Christian Shakespeare knew it...

country became a joke . i wish EU west do same with Pakistanis too
I dont agree with you. However every pakistani regardless of coulour creed or religion should be given the same opportunities. Its wrong to sack him

You are deflecting and dodging my points, and parroting same views again and again. You have comprehension problems, bro.

US does not give a shit about CPEC on its own unless WE knock on its door to address our problems. Understand?

Don't drag US into this discussion and use it as a scapegoat to dodge my points. Unfortunately you do not have much counter-argument.

The door of IMF is not US door. USA is not the owner of IMF. It has much money coming from China and Saudis so first you have to see what IMF is and then tell us whose door we are knocking.
Secondly Pakistan is not going to IMF, that is the main reason Atif mian lost his job.

Why should not I drag USA into all this the questions of At if Mians blog and what Pompeo asked are same. Sorry he is out these questions will not be answered.

What I remember is that there was big controversy about the middle name of Barack Hussain Obama in USA despite he told quite a few times to the media that he is a Christian so why he had to explain in a secular country? Someone should ask these liberals
Furthermore, head scarf has been banned in the so called champions of freedom of expression? So furthermore, other than UK, you can't easily open mosques especially with their distinctive architecture. Most of mosques are not open under religious rather social activity centres.. called Islamic centers...while in Pakistan churches have their distinctive look and even govt has paid for the construction of a Church and even a hindu temple in Islamabad.
