Government and TLP reach agreement to end countrywide protests

Let's face it. We knew this was going to happen. In front of flag of Islam carried on the shoulders of Mullahs the state always cowers down. Frankly this is not about partisan politics. PML-N, PPP, PTI or even a military dictatorship have done the same. Cower down. The only exception I can think of is Lal Masjid but even there the military government of Musharaf prevaricated and only took action when Chinese citizens were grabbed. Forced to move finally because Beijing put pressure and Lal Masjid was restricted to one location in the capital.

Why is this? Why do all the flavour of governments bend backwards in front of Islamic flag peddling Mullahs. The reasons are bigger then PPP,PML-N or PTI. The reasons are structural. The state is too weak in front of these people because there is real fear that if push came to shove the security organs of the state might just dissolve or fall apart under pressure from crowds invoking Islam and inviting them to rebel in the name of Islam. This is the only plausible reason I can give unless somebody can come with better explaination.

Nobody is going to tell me that if Nawaz, Zardari or Shabaz or even Bajwa were in power things would have played out differantly.

I see those f...cker on the screen I get pissed why do Pakistanis want to bask in s..it while neighboring countries go forward and improve its like we want to stay in the same place and not move.Screw the political parties they enable these idiots for gain instead of sending tanks no wonder the Chinese,Turks,Azeris and Kazakhs are wary of mullah infuence in their political system and put them on the leash yeah they are asking for backlash from wahhabis from the Gulf still they are doing something,Pakistan keeps talking to them and we continue to let these f...cks run around

yar it is very important to control the situation...external agencies have got involved. Govt need to understand... IK's speech was totally wrong.. but good that finally the sanity has prevailed. IK should not become a part of the game this CJ is playing against Pakistan... the old attention seeking whore is at no good.
Up to my knowledge case against moob will be register , no mafi talafi for lotters and azzholes. Molvi said those are not his supporters so Govt can deal with them..... Only some main guys of TLP will get mafi(((I am against it but State can deal with them later))))

Congratulations

Pakistani government grows stronger.

Taliban, TTP, TLP, MQM, Swat, Lal Masjid, op radd-ul-fasad, op zarb-e-azb....

Newer terms keep emerging from Pakistan. They all seem same.

We can't see it but those in power are aware of their limitations and they don't want to push too hard unless it breaks.

Well said. I honestly think if it came to war and it looked like we'd lose the state, many of our generals and leaders would leave the country well before that.

Under the surface we have huge problems, problems that can only be fixed by getting society into work. Once they're wage slaves - they'll be much easier to control.

I think Killing Sami ul Haq turned out to be bummer for the International Players, they were expecting something else .

Its good sanity has prevailed, but the ones who have caused loss of damage to properties should be prosecuted.
I think once get the situation under control and take action against all responsible one by one..BTW ..I think CJP is equally responsible for all this mess for three main reasons
  1. He should have delayed the verdict for a few months
  2. He should have taken the PM into confidence before announcing the verdict
  3. He should not interfere into govt's business and should confine himself to the judiciary.

Long work hours is needed for wage slaves sadly and IGAF What Amenesty or UN says about that but if it keeps them away from the streets better
