I don't know if a separate thread is needed. Everyone of us knows what we are gathering for the day of judgement. It is clear in Quran and Hadith, that Muslims have been asked to be united, but we just want to impose our own theories to negate what's written in Quran and Hadith, and make it a matter of our ego.
And hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together and do not become divided. And remember the favor of Allah upon you - when you were enemies and He brought your hearts together and you became, by His favor, brothers. And you were on the edge of a pit of the Fire, and He saved you from it. Thus does Allah make clear to you His verses that you may be guided. (3:103)
Isn't the above verse not very clear? OK, maybe not for some.. lets read another verse:
The believers are but brothers, so make settlement between your brothers. And fear Allah that you may receive mercy. (49:10)
Good that you reminded me about the last sermon. This is again to clear the filthy minds of racists, who are found in abundance throughout the Muslim world, not just India or Arabia, but Pakistan is prime example of racism:
"Arabs have no superiority over non-Arabs and Non-Arabs have no Superiority over Arabs, You are all equal except by piety and good actions. I leave behind me two things, the Quran and my example, the Sunnah and if you follow these you will never go astray” (Prophet Muhammad's PBUH Last Sermon)
I don't know how can people who call themselves Muslims (whether they are Indians or Pakistanis, or Arabs) who can't feel pain of the fellow Muslims.. See this:
“The similitude of believers in regard to mutual love, affection, and fellow-feeling is that of one body; when any limb of it aches, the whole body aches, because of sleeplessness and fever.” (Sahih Muslim)
Still we are confused? Lets see another one:
“A Muslim is a brother of another Muslim, he doesn’t oppress him, neither does he hand him over to the enemy, he doesn’t disappoint him, nor does he humiliate him.”
A man once visited the Prophet’s mosque and saw a group of people including Salman (from Persia), Suhaib, a Greek, and Bilal, an African. The man said: “If the (Madinan) tribes of Aws and Khazraj support Muhammad, they are his people. But what are these people doing here?” The Prophet (peace be upon him) became angry when this was reported to him. He went to the mosque and summoned people to prayer where he addressed them saying: “O people know that the Lord and Sustainer is One. Your ancestor is one, your faith is one. The Arabism of anyone of you is not from your mother or father. It is no more than a tongue (language). Whoever speaks Arabic is an Arab.”
As I said, it is ego and arrogance in every Muslim that is hurting the ummah. I am not saying that Indian Muslims are very good, but they are as bad as all other Muslims, including us. After all, we are also arrogant and hate them. In fact some Pakistanis hate other Pakistanis more than Indian or Pakistani Muslims hate each other...
The Prophet PBUH teaches: “Whoever has arrogance in his heart equal to an atom’s weight shall not enter Paradise." A man inquired about a person who likes to wear beautiful clothes and fine shoes, he PBUH answered: "God is beautiful and likes beauty’ and explained pride as rejecting truth because of self-esteem and looking down on other people.”
It is very clear now why Muslims are oppressed everywhere in the world. We think Pakistan is safe? We are under the worst form of oppression.. which one? even if till now people haven't found out how Pakistanis are surviving, they they think they are much better than other, then all I can say is "May Allah help us". We are being humiliated, we have to go to ask for financial help from other countries, we are fighting long wars against ourselves.. we are putting worst kind of people to lead us.. Shouldn't we consider these signs of Allah that we aren't good Muslim, or sometimes I think good humans, either?
Why? Because we think we are a martial race. When others hear us making these kind of stupid statements, they laugh at us.. and why shouldn't they?
I can understand people's sentiments here about Afghans and Indian Muslims. Even my blood boils when I see their irrational attitude towards us.. But can we generalize all of them as such? Aren't Afghan Taliban Afghans who happily accept our advice seriously?
Where I work, I see and interact with a lot of Indians.. Indian Muslims are also here in large numbers... There are Indian Muslims who say that we Pakistanis don't even realize what we have.. I am hearing this quite often from Indian Muslims nowadays.. Still there are many who talk bad about Pakistan, but don't we have two type of people just like them? But lets consider they don't like us.. should we ignore Quran and Hadith and start hating all of them? No we shouldn't because we will be judged according to our actions..
I used to give this example few years back.. suppose there are two brothers.. due to any reason, they start hating each other.. they swear at each other, and don't like to see the face of each other.. One day one brother meets an accident.. will the first brother keep hating him or pray for his speedy recovery?? Suppose the brother is on a death bed, will the other brother still tell other people that since his brother hated him, he has no sympathy whatsoever?
