Sir, right now at work, so will write in detail. I don't know about others, but my upbringing is very different. I keep Muslims first before the state. Yes at times, I get angry on Afghans and Indian Muslims, but my heart beats for Muslims first. Pakistan is secondary to me.. Islam and Muslims are first.
Pakistan came into being on the two nation theory and that's why my ancestors supported its creation. I don't know what or how other sons of soil, the native Pakistanis think, for them a piece of land is more important than the concept that was the foundation of snatching that land. If they want, unki land unn ko Mubarak.. maybe they are right and they will be sent directly to jannah for considering country over ummah.
And I accept that in the last two years, I probably wrote bad comments about Afghans and Indian Muslims. I generalized all of them based on the actions of few. I ask forgiveness of my Lord for my ignorance. I wasn't like that before joining this forum. I think it's time for me to go back to my old self.
Many people link ummah's concept with profit and loss. They always question what will they get if they help the brothers in need. For them, if the other Muslims do not help us, we shouldn't help them too. They say the Lord is one but expect benefit from worldly figures. Maybe this is how they have been brought up. Maybe calling other Muslims black, small, coward or whatever, was taught to them. I am not in their league.
It's quite possible that I am wrong. But for now, I just want to become my old self. I can't see fellow Muslims, whether they are in India, Myanmar, China etc suffer. My heart aches for them even if they hate me.. I can't hate a Muslim, ever.
All I can say is that I am an Islam lover as well. Love Prophet Muhammad SAW so much that the words cannot describe it.
The thing is this, despite your love, bias, liking etc. you have to keep your thinking, comments and judgements clear, without clouding it for any given preferences or inklings.
In case of Afghans, they are heavily under the influence of the Indian propaganda. Their last two generations born and grown up under NDS/RAW prescribed and spread propaganda. Due to it, they have lost their ability to analyse the incidents, political and geopolitical issues with clear minds. As a result, they heavily criticise Pakistan and held her responsible for all the ills suffered by the Afghans.
The Indian Muslims on the other hand are given the lollipops of "terrorist" and "poor" Pakistan. Even though most of them have never visited Pakistan. They think exactly like a "hardened, racist Hindu" thinks about Pakistan.
In such circumstances, for you to put them first just because they are Muslims is naive to say the least.
I have written on this forum that I work closely with the Indians in London. Two of them few months back were vehemently narrating the same mantras we have read here and in many other places for years, i.e. "poor and terrorist" Pakistan.
Another one, who was a little saner recently got married to a Pakistani girl , who is his first cousin. He had been to Karachi after marriage. He said he was shocked to see how freely Pakistanis live. He said that we never has such freedoms like you guys have in Pakistan. He said being Muslims we always have to look over our shoulders and scared of consequences of any wrong step.
He also got rid of the fake illusions of "Poor" Pakistan. He said generally Pakistanis standard of living is way above the Indians.
All I am saying is that it is well and good to love Islam and Muslims but use your judgement in any given situation and circumstances. Blanket liking or support of anything, group etc. is filled with dangers.
