Till a few years ago, I was indifferent to the creation/idea of Pakistan, and never understood why there was a need for it. The atmosphere of India today makes me think otherwise. If the current atmosphere was what was in 1946 (and it probably was the same or worse), hell everyone would want a separate state if they could get one.

Having said that, there are always going to be Muslim minorities everywhere, no matter how many Muslim states get created. We should always empathize with these folks and be understanding of their issues.

Unfortunately... many use their current self to impose a judgement on ppl of the past... and by doing so... deny the reality of others in current days.

Same goes for the other side... Thankfully Life is a circle where new generation would have a chance to answer to the old gen Q... and therefore be taken on their words... on their judgement on the previous gen.

The inflation has reached the highest 10 percent yesterday and food items have become double example them they are in Pakistan right now. As their pay is very small then Pakistanis . An average security guard earns 7 to 8 thousand in India while it earns 25 thousand in Pakistan.
Inflation all time high.
Joblessness all time high .
Industries are closing down .
Onion prices have sky rocketed . As most Indians eat only 1 roti and onion.
Their image has been ruined .
Yes but this all keep the attention away from economy then it is all right.
The only genuine thing that hurt people and their sentiment towards bjp is economy .
If they know that bjp is not doing good for economy or things are getting really difficult for them such as food items the bjp would loose all their vote bank .
So these types of incidents affirm the loyalty of far right voter but also keep confusion and keep the voter intact .

Not sure why Indian Muslims should always be viewed through the prism of "Pakistan"? Why can't you just view them as another Muslim community that exists in the world, the same way that you view Muslims from Senegal or Yemen or Crimea.
