Going to Pakistan with American Wife: Ongoing Updates

There were many selfies requests--in both Karachi and Lahore. I had to jokingly say that she's a Pathani faking as an Angrez. Lots of laughters evoked by those comments! All in good humor.

This one is in Lahore Fort on December 8.

its strange to see People asking for selfie , because I remember been in some of the crowded places in Islamabad, Karachi with my wife , yes people do stare at us but no one come out to ask for a selfie , maybe it might be because your Wife is a vlogger and seems to be making videos ?
What i do get is the some old people asking me if she is my friend , and upon telling them that she is my wife, I get a lot of free food Offers and Blessings, specially in KPK .. They people there are amazing to say the least .

I'm not sure why your experience was different.. maybe the blogger angle.. maybe bc my wife is westernized.. no hijab and almost always in Western clothes and demeanor.. more approachable?
She remains an American woman with her Christian faith, dress selections, and food choices.. and that's how I prefer things to be like between us...

Anyway, that's my wild guess.. I hope I haven't offended anyone...

Well Actually i am too a bit shocked to see how people are asking for selfie's , I think you are right with Blogger angle , cause a lot of people also think that my wife is my friend and she is here to vlog something . And they are shy to come and ask us directly if we are married .
As for clothing my Wife wears pretty much the same as your wife do, Jeans and she bought different tops and Kurti ( if you know what that is ) sometimes she wore Dupatta sometimes not its always her decision except if we are going at someone conservative .
I think my wife is more on quite'r side girl , she is not very open to talk and approach people , most of the talking she left on me . Also i noticed that my wife is not much people's person, she enjoyed far more in places where we were mostly alone and not much people around rather than in crowdy places so this could be reason too .

Nah you didn't offend me bro :)

brother, I am stuck in Administrative Processing :D I have no other option but to get a lawyer and file for writ of Mandamus , I didn't have a joint sponsor but i give them one back in Feb 2019 , and since than no progress has been made . Someone from US told me that i had to get a Lawyer and file this Writ of Mandamus Petition hence the US Courts will review our case, and if accepted than ask Embassy to resolve our case within 90 Days . Senator Lindsey Graham also failed to help in this regard .

Did u go up north? Or kp?

No, unfortunately not. Was told by many that roads may get blocked by snows and that except for up to Bhurban...

I fly back to America tonight/early Sat Pakistan time. What a trip! I am exhausted and the trip is like a blur except for the idle last few days at the Karachi family house...

A visit to the mausoleum of Pakistan's founder M.A. Jinnah. Lots of selfies there. Then to a Sindh Culture Day event near Karachi Press Club. Dance with the locals on Sindhi music. Never felt slightest threat in both places. Yes, Karachi can be dangerous standing with an expensive phone roadside--the cell phone snatchers. Or so I heard.

Anyway, here is the video...
