Wrapping up a whirlwind 20 hour trip to Lahore..at the Allama Iqbal airport. Waiting for flight back to Karachi.. Serene Air.. About $160/person.

We have both fallen in love with Lahore! It's my first time in Lahore since very young and definitely first time for the wife.. we both think Lahore is way cleaner, safer, and more organized than Karachi... And I'm a born and raised Karachiite..

We had a very hectic day trip in Lahore yesterday.. many pics and videos.. coming up.. lots of fun and never felt unsafe..

We're both exhausted!! In my op I had expressed concerns about how to balance time between family and non family activities.. and it's been tough and tiring...
But we're having a great time... Wife is more Pakistani than ever before.. the love and attention from everyone is great.. in fact.. we just came home after buying three Pakistani dresses for her.. a sign of her growing affection for Pakistan..
It's not over yet!

Glad that you are showing your family a positive image of Pakistan.

Unfortunately many Pakistanis dissuade their own Non-Pakistani family members from visiting Pakistan.

I am from Faisalabad and love my city, but have still to take my family back home. I need to get on that.

Don't want to ruin my brother @Meengla thread but i think few things needs to be understand correctly .
When a old White American marry a young Pakistani guy , its a mutual decision which mutually beneficial for both parties involved , For a old white or fair skin women who had 3-4 divorced in past and have kids as old as her new Husband, she in her that stage of life is looking for none other than a loyal Husband to be with her, and a young man's D is just a cherry on top for some , and for Pakistani men its opportunity to move to USA and peruse a better life, and some of the them have this inferiority complex so to them marrying a white women even a bit older than them is not a issue , as in many societies in Pakistan white is considered beautiful .
From Islamic Prospectus it is also Halal as marrying a older/Non Virgin /Widow is not just allowed but encouraged by the Prophet himself, Don't forget his first wife was many years older than he was roughly 15-20 and she was a Widow . A lot of people take this as their justification .

For me personally it doesn't bother if someone from Pakistan ( younger ) marry's someone from USA ( older ) , because there are numerous cases where young man married a older women , for various reasons including fetish's , If a eastern European or S.American does that it wont be considered bad but if Pakistani' does it than its bad ? And since when we know what is in their hearts ? only Allah knows the true intention of a person, so we can not judge people by saying they marry old women just for Visa , its a brutal Generalization and insulting as well, Similar to that I will not Generalize White old women looking for young males in these 3rd world countries to marry for lots of reasons including trafficking and sexual pleasures but again not all are like that .

Now just to make it clear, Take this from someone who is actually married to a white America from last 2.5 years and as many talks about Pakistani young man marrying older women, my wife is 8 years younger than me , and I just turned 29 .

It would be unwise to bring the missus to either Lahore or Karachi. Go Islamabad first and then don't come south.
