Umm..you are serious you wanted to refute Paracha? And that was what you came up with? That's as good as it will get?

Two things - look up 'delusional'.

Also ask some random bozo to explain " Chandra-Bhagey aar poschad-deshe ".
At least, I didn't have to resort to personal attacks, you know.

Oh wait- you did

Go figure!
They are: India, US, Israel, Hindu, Jew, Christian, Liberal, Ahmadi, Democrat, Secular, Politician, Ethnic Nationalist, Papua New Guinea – all are enemies.

They’ll invade us, make us renounce Islam, dismantle our bomb and make us their slaves! They might even take away your X-box! So think. Actually don’t. Bad for national security.

So, want to push through or sell anything in Pakistan? Just put the suffix ‘Islamic’ in front of it.

A reactionary outfit attacks a pop concert, but the pop artiste hurls curses at ‘American imperialism’ and ‘invasion of Indian culture;’ and then comes Ramazan, actors, morning show hosts, singers and even TV chefs suddenly transformed into becoming overnight ‘Islamic scholars’ sharing religious advise along with recipes for chicken chow mein and the ins and outs of gaudy bridal wear.

Of course, none of these idiots dare take the names of those who detest them as obscene, un-Islamic freaks.

Thus, at this point in time, most artistes in Pakistan do not need protection; they need shrinks!

And as far as the politicians are concerned, they haven’t done their dilemma in this respect any good.

They’re also in the habit of trying to capture the punishment obsession of the people by promising to hang their opponents from electric poles – usually upside down (‘mein ussey ulta latka doon ka!’ *applause*).

In Pakistan everybody wants to hang everybody else.
Sheer genius flowing in this article !!! That Papua New Guinea part was the best !!!

The Stockholm Syndrome runs deep in societies on the verge of collapsing into a total state of fascism. In Pakistan fear of extremists has actually made many people sympathise with their tormentors; or instead of blaming the extremists they begin to blame and curse a ready-made punching bag largely constructed by the media.

Here are few examples:

‘
  • Bajur market massacre kills 30, injures 101: Zardari claims responsibility.’
  • ‘Foreign investment falls dramatically in Pakistan. Businessmen blame terror attacks and kidnappings by Zardari.’
  • ‘Bangladesh cricket team cancels tour of Pakistan. Sites security concerns due to threat posed by Zardari.’
  • ‘Zardari beheads 2 Pakistan army soldiers.’
  • ‘People killed in US drone strike were not Zardari. They were civilians,’ says Imran Khan.

The star part is hilarious!

Mr. Paracha is a classic case of living in the past syndrome and in denial mode. Its been almost 5 years that the army and ISI have confined themselves to the barracks and have given free hand to this PPP govt. on almost all the matters.
Oh yeah? Are they really confined to the barracks? Your case is either one of denial or you don't know what's really happening! All American generals and government officials always meet with Kayani and Co in Pakistan and abroad first BEFORE interacting with the 'democratically elected government'.

Because the Pak Army has wrested foreign policy and security from the government which has no say in these matters! Period!

Can you deny that?

Offcourse, as I see it only after the General made an offer to vacate Siachen region comes the proposal to the Indian Govt, I would like to stress 'to the Indian Government'. I guess the irony can be seen by anyone except a Pakistani troll.

For the past two years, COAS and Army has laid low, and tried to divert the pressure to the civilian government.

The Army right now does not want to come in gung ho, and then get all the blame, at a time it's popularity is slightly increasing. The things that are happening, will always happen, until we have this kind of a system. And also because of the deal BB brokered back in 2006-7. And the architect of those deals was you might know who.

Ever wondered why the NATO supplies and drones stance is on a standstill and stagnant? Government tried to evade it by firing the gun off the parliaments shoulders, and buy time, but in the end , foreign policy is the governments issue, and all eyes eventually came back to them. The government was/is in no position to go forward with this. Resume supplies, suffer national backlash, keep on stopping them suffer NATO. THis is election year, the government wants to increase popularity, and hence wants to put the army forward, but the army does not want to come forward, they want to lay low, and leave it to the government, advice comes often, but not orders. COAS and army was furious when Salala happened (meetings within army happened, alot happened in them), now Gayari happened. First it was anger, now sorrow.

Nobody wants to do anything. Issues have stangnated, government is trying to buy time and get somebody to do something. But it's quite everywhere.

So, how did you infer that Army controls the policies?

That is the very definition of a lost and sinking ship of state.

Things are really looking down at the moment on all fronts, bar some.

How can there be "bar some" when things are down on ALL fronts? That doesn't even make sense, unless you meant to say "bar none". (No disrespect intended.)

its hilarious on a serious note this is the case , this guy has become a punching bag for all ... its not just hear , its every where ... we have worst morons ruling from last 30 years
I am glad to see that there still are reasonable people in Pakistan and your country will yet see change brought about by people like you, this however does not mean there are no fools in India!
