The problem is not just the leadership. But the caste system that separate people base on background rather than merit. Foreign investors start to realize that India might not achieve the economic development equivalent of East Asian countries such as Japan, Korea or Taiwan and instead be in perpetual poverty.
we dont distrust anyone. anyone deserving gets a chance in our country. many indians now a days are athiests like me.Do Indians distrust atheists?

Thats a intresting question there is a concept of being atheist or agnostic in dharmic religions like Buddhism and Hinduism but this being India it is still a very spiritual country with millions of people who are very religious. My view is that religion is a personal matter for oneself and their maker, I am of the view that the the state should not interfere in such matters but the concept of democracy means the parties need votes and will use religion as a tool to gather those votes there lies the problem.

How can it be an "Asian Century" if only two Asian countries are in the top 10 economies?
The West (North America + Europe) have SIX in the top ten.
good explanation
See below:
It shows 38% of Pakistanis and 32.7% of Indians age 15 and above have had no schooling. That leaves 67% of Indians and 62% of Pakistanis 15 and above who can be considered schooled and literate.

Did you even read, much less understand, what I have posted?
Oh ffs not this bs again! How many times I have proven to you that the data is wrong! You are just unbelievable! You keep peddling the same old bs even though you yourself have accepted that this data is wrong!
Refresh your memory again,
Barrow and Lee data for India
I dont know why people on this forum fight even when it is positive news.
West is history as it rose a century ago... Asian civilizations ruled in a highly skewed manner for more than 3000 years.
Thats a BIG achievement in human history. Temporary shift in power the west.
I dont care of countries in asia, I just care its Asia and Europe
and africa
RiazHaq is right, Indians tested the lowest in the world on the Global OECD educational tests and the IQ tests as well.
India's most famous Economist Amartya Sen said that: "India has gone from having the 2nd best development indicators in South Asia, to having the 2nd worst".
Africa is doing better than India for sure.
Especially in terms of things like poverty and malnutrition.

But African elites are much worse than Indian elites. Its OK if the Dalits go down because the 200 million Indian elite top tiers will bring India into the 21st century. I'm serious. Its much better to have a small group of ultra elites supported by a big base, than to have a slightly smaller base that's slightly better though still starving, but no elites.
