the only reason why this is a bad idea, is because the Indians will then deny the existence of the lost unit.

a small portion of infantry should be captured and videotaped signing statements of surrender. never allow the 'stabbed in the back' myth to arise. IA must be totally humiliated, not just defeated. they must be forced to accept their total defeat, and to accept that any conflict is 100% their fault.
