You can't jump up and declare independence. It takes preparation. There is too much ignorance in the population topped over by ideology, and there are threats from China and Pakistan. If Afghanistan to Bangal came under Hindustan Union similar to EU, with NATO like defense/security structure and mechanism then Bihar will be an independent member. It will be Greater Hindustan again, similar to Maurya, Delhi Sultanate, and Mughal empires. How likely is that today? Zero chance, but in the distant future may be possible.

There is no Bihari nationalist sentiment, although there should be for Biharis to look after Biharis and foster a sense of unity. Sindh is much more independent minded and nationalist than Bihar, for example Jiye Sindh movement. Reason is that the Bihari identity is tied to Hindustan, which Biharis consider to be from Kabul to Bangal. Ancient Bihari identity (the original ruling caste) existed on the Indus long before your Scythian ancestors were there. Hence, Bihari identity is different from Nepali or Bengali identity.

Ancient Indian empires were based from Bihar and Biharis were involved with medieval Indian empires of Delhi Sultanate and Mughal, as well as with Pakistan, however they did not think they were fighting Indian civilization like Pakistani nationalists do.
