There will be no "action" or discrimination against Turks or German/Turks in Germany, as foreign minister Gabriel pointed out in a open letter to the turkish people the problem is the turkish government not the turkish people.

Germany ignored so far every insult from Erdogan or turkish Erdogan whoreship press...
They ignored that turkey does not allow members of the German Parliament to visit german soldiers which are a Parliarment Army (they only follow orders given by the german Parliament!) ... most Germans saw this already as inaceptable ...
Erdogans rallys across europe were he tells Turks not living in Turkey not to integrate in the local community because it is a insulte for Turkey if turks integrate in local culture... no comment from officel side... most people here thought WTF is this idiot telling
arresting a Turkish German journalist with wild blaming he support terrorists and dont allow german ambessador to get in contact... no reaction

arresting a german human right actevists and members of amnesty international was the point were Erdogan crossed the red line...

So far the only thnig Germany did was a travel warning for German tourists for Turkey.... not more... there are no sactions or other econic actions...

What many not know since the plot one year ago Turkey arrested 22 Germans for no reason of which are only 13 free again, all are blamed to be supporter of terrorists.. even a female translator.. such behaivor is not acceptable and Germany is forced to protect it citizen.

The German citizen wants since a very long time a very hard course against Turkey... but fortunatily our politicans have a cool head and stay calm... thats no sign of weakness...that is a sign of strenght.... weak is Erdogan insulting almost everyone on earth only to get his weak *** spanked and play brave boy after... best example how Putin schooled him.. it shows that he and turkey has no power ... if someone with real power raise his eyebrown Erdogan gets very quickly friendly and quiet...

German politicans are in a difficult situation with Erdogan, he act like a naive little kid, but Turkey is NATO member even if many question that after Turkey published secret US and Frensh bases in Syria with numbers of soldiers.

I guess it is time that USA, Germany, France and UK took Erdogan behind closed doors and give him a clear message and clear consquens if he continue to act like a little Sultan...

to the numbers of turkish people in Germany.... they are far less than most think...

By end of 2016 in Germany lifed 1.492.580 people with Turkish Passport
this number dropped from over 2million in 2000 (peak was in 1999)
By end of 2016 in Germany lifed 2.98 million poeple with turkish background (including the 1.5million with turkish passport)
In Germany are close to 3million (not 5million) Turks or German/Turks the half have german passport the other half have turkish passport... about 25.000 turks drop their turkish passport a year to get german citizenship...
from 2000 till 2016 about 45.000 Turks gave back the german passport to get the turkish (or other) again.

The only preassure that Germany can build up on the turkish government with the Turks living n Germany..
of the 1.5million turkish people with turkisch passport in Germany...
only 502.000 have a unlimited permission to stay in Germany... the rest have a time limited permission to stay here...
What Germany could do within own and EU laws stoping to extend the permission to stay in Germany. Just in case things get worse.... oh and btw... because turkish familys are huge the number of actual turkish worker is pretty low compared to the 3million with turkish background

The Italian guy is telling BS. He's exaggerating every statement made so far. No one in Europe has mentioned to end the customs union or even talked about economic sanctions up to now.

Did i say this was decided yet? Germany did install sanctions as it ended evry support for investment. Which is a fact. The EU says it supports that move and that further steps are being taken.

Turkey becoems a safety risk for europe. Better deal with it now before a 2nd Hitler has to shot himself in his bunker. Appeasement doesnt work.

inside the EU all agree with Germany... take the fact that no one in the EU likes Erdogan and no one accept the insluting behaivor of turkish politicans since years... Erdogan lately crossed a boarder and he will face the result...if EU like Turkish Economy is ruined within a year.... there are no partners powerfull enough to safe turkey if EU is playing hard ... currently most turks life in a fantasy island belifeing they are more powerfull and important as they are... like a german politican said some time ago...they dream to be a local powerhous but they are not... on one side is the EU... on the other is russia and in the south is Israel... they are pretty much trapped between real power
