You guys are actually debating in "Strategical and Geopolitical " of a defence forum the personal opinion of a guy who posted his picture with a watch to proove his wealth and who said he impresses girls with his body (not with his mind,obviously-duh !!) ??

What's next ? American bum shares his thoughts about the politics of the ME-"the arabs in my town stole a candy"-Debate!

Hey if some member of the Deutsche Volk steps forward and presents a grievance why shouldn't we listen? I didn't even know this. (hell I didn't even realize they noticed what we did or did not do till now)

@MarkusS!

U need to realize something that Germany had a bigger and a very positive role in the history specially in WW1 when it sided with Turkey and fought with Allies....We were part of an occupied india at that time where British were not liked and were seen as occupiers. So we had developed respect for German Nation. And that respect got more strong when WW2 happened, we basically saw a Nation rising from Ashes and becoming a leading Military and Economic Giant in just a space of 7 years. Not a lot of people accept this now a days in Europe but German Nazi Party had a big role in it. And there is a lot of admiration for German Courage,Valor, Determination and its very Famous Efficiency here in our Country. This respect and admiration is more in our Armed forces as much of our fighting tactics and doctrines r influenced by Third Reich of Greater Germany. I personally admire Grand Admiral Karl Donitz. I still remember his words from his book.........

''The betrayer of military secrets is a pariah, despised by every man and every nation. Even the enemy whom he serves has no respect for him, but merely uses him. Any nation which is not uncompromisingly unanimous in its condemnation of this type of treachery is undermining the very foundations of its own state, whatever its form of government may be.''

I also have the Book called ''The Struggle'' its written by Hitler and is banned in world. But its a wonderful read if u r not a victim of the post war Allied Propaganda.

Yes there has been some bad things but nobody in this sad world we live in is a Saint either. So Propaganda aside, there still are lot of things the world need to learn from Germany before accusing them or putting a negative Tag on them.

And After such a bitter past we again see Germany today leading EU.

So our Admiration for Germany is very deep rooted and historic. U r basically seen as an Example in my country.

Didn't realize it meant so much! Generally developing countries are a little hesitant to give 'help' to developed countries out of fear they'd be considered 'arrogant'[/quote]How is helping someone make you arrogant?

You said almost what I had in mind. Add to this this German prowess in technology innovation even when they were under sanctions after WW1. Its amazing to read new ideas and concepts they introduced in modern warfare.

My grand dad fought against Germans in Libya in WW2. He was Army captain. He was full of admiration for German soldiers, their intelligence and professionalism.

. . .

we're supposed to be poor, generally taking aid. Giving money/resources back? You know what the 'daily fail' will say the next day? 'Rich India Gives aid to Germany'! they do it even otherwise now.

. .
As i said, it is funny to see indians can´t adress the problem but get personal. None of them can say why they don´t help or show compassion for others who helped them alot. All they start is hate and personal insults. Very primitive behavior.

That is absurd so far no one said such stuff even when Edhi (using the money donated by people of Pakistan) helped people worldwide ....Maybe Indian media would paint those colours :undcided:

Had there been no germany the allied would have never gotten the real glimpse of modern technology they have of today......Its mostly based on German Technology and hardwork.

Even did u know British never used the British indian army as offensive against Germany because they had a doubt that they might rebel like we rebelled in WW1 when they asked us to fight Turkey-Germany Allied forces.

Well that is what each is posting...If you dont care you would read and walk away but each has made it his or her point to contribute to drag the thread to page 5 ...that is entertaining :pop:
