What's new

General Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) visited frontline troops in Rakhchikri Sector of Line of Control (LOC) today.

امپریشن سے ایسے لگتا ہے آرمی چیف پوچھ رہے ہیں یار یہ سودا چلتا کیسے ہے
Impression is considering range, utilization and effectiveness of weapon system in this theater.

Just saying from a military mindset seeing his body posture and face expressions.

. .
Where is the resilient nation?
And they are Just Defenders of DHA's!
0+0=0

Same modus operandi for as many years.
New Army chief takes command, gets to a choreographed tour of border areas, gives few barhkein, comes back.
Next he will go to a passing out parade (another photo op costing corores of our tax money) and give same barhkain.

یہ کچھ نیا بھی نہیں کرسکتے۔
کچھ نیا کہہ بھی نہیں سکتے
سوائے رنگ برنگے زیورات سینے پہ آویزاں کرنے کے
I'd suggest you pick up a gun and stand guard and show these "do nothings" (as you claim) how its done. Fair enough? Or offer me the profession you are in and let us know something amazing that you have done to surpass all others since its so easy to take pot-shots at other professionals.

Its not the army chief's job to man the border areas. His job is to signal the intent of those under his command and given the statement from the other side, he has signaled properly by visiting key areas. Those who do it know what they are doing and they are doing it outnumbered with a much smaller budget and resources than the other side. At a minimum, respect those who stand guard in such circumstances.

It is a god damned embarrassment to see the constant political whining seeping into all matters (including the situation on the LoC) just because a particular political leaning cannot get its way.

There is a place and time for all things. Let's not mix up domestic politics with our security challenges with India. When your side was in governance, anyone voicing such views was outrightly condemned as "ghaddar". So take a pause with such misplaced bile as you are only bringing shame to the PTI base itself.

Newly appointed Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Gen Syed Asim Munir on Saturday hit back at “highly irresponsible statements” from Indian officials about Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir, saying the Pakistan Army was “ever ready” to take the fight to its enemy.
General Munir’s remarks followed statements from India’s Lieutenant General Upendra Dwivedi and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh.
In October, Singh said he hoped to have GB as part of India to complete the mission the Modi government began by annexing Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu Kashmir in August 2019.
Last week, Dwivedi — the general officer commanding-in-chief of the Indian army’s northern command — commented on Singh’s statement by underscoring that a resolution on the matter already existed in the Indian parliament.

“As far as the Indian Army is concerned, it will carry out any order given by the government of India. We are always ready for it,” a Hindustan Times report had quoted him as saying.
The Foreign Office had already rejected Singh’s statement about GB as ridiculous and said it represented India’s expansionist mindset while the ISPR had denounced Dwivedi’s statement as an “apt manifestation” of the Indian army’s “delusional mindset”.
Days after taking charge, the new COAS also addressed the statements. A press release from the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) issued today stated that during a visit to frontline troops in the Line of Control’s (LoC) Rakhchikri sector, Gen Munir said the army had noticed “highly irresponsible statements” from the Indian Ieadership on GB and AJK recently.
“Let me make it categorically clear, Pakistan’s armed forces are ever ready, not only to defend every inch of our motherland, but, to take the fight back to the enemy, if ever, war is imposed on us,” the press release quoted him as saying.
“Any misconception resulting into a misadventure will always be met with full might of our armed forces backed by a resilient nation.”
He added that the Indian state would never be able to achieve its “nefarious design” and also called on the world to “ensure justice and deliver what is promised” to Kashmiris as per the relevant UN resolutions.
During his visit, the COAS was also briefed on the latest situation along the LoC and the formation’s operational preparedness.
“COAS interacted with officers and soldiers; appreciated their high morale, professional competence and combat readiness while performing their duties in challenging conditions,” the press release reads.

You can buy the BS of 70 years, no problem.
The atrocities of military Inc are coming into sharp contrast just now, not just because one leader stood up but nation came out spontaneously in numbers on the night of March 10th.
Military Inc then resorted to all sorts of illegal, and unconstitutional actions to Harass media, the nation, and one party because they refused political engineering.

Why Arshad sharif left country.? Who pulled dozens of FIRs all over the country? Who then readily clung on to Kenyan police statement? Because They are the assasins.

Who attempted assasination on IK?

Who cleaned up the murder site of Benazir on December 27, 2007? To erase all evidence?
The events of shame are long and either you are really young or have overlooked history.
This is no bile, FACTS and FACTS.

.... By all means stay to your side of history.

To kia karain? Hamla kar dain India par??

You PTI fanboys and your 24/7 RR is now getting more and more irritating

Criticize them for bringing in dakus of PDM on Pakistan yes or for arresting Swati or gill but at least on topics like these if you want to criticize make it make sense
ارے بھائی حملہ کیا کریں گے۔
یہ بازو میرے آزمائے ہوئے ہیں۔
بس ترانے گائیں گے۔

What is their military achievements, honestly? Plz present with facts and then I will come with undeniable history and facts...but words will be left short. Or probably I won't because history for all to see even on the other side of border to our enemies.

....just stop doing political engineering.
Don't advertise BAU activities.
Stop expanding DHA's.
Stop military Inc, become a military.
Stop ordering judiciary
Stop ordering FIA, Police.
Stop protecting criminals in their ranks.
Stop considering them demigods (this is without being sarcastic), and submit to the law and constitution of the land.

Let unclassified portion of Hamurrehman commission report see sunlight.

Issue Abbottabad commission report.

Stop coercing judiciary and Punjab police from registering FIR nominating mj general Faisal Naseer and his unlawful isi gang.

But they won't do because werewolves don't permanently change to human form.

Agreed with all that but still you didn't tell me what problem you have with this tour of loc or this thread?

Or is it mandatory to do RR on every thread and topic? Imran Khan might end up doing compromise with the same guys that you keep bashing 24/7 so keep a margin for that too

It was a photo op. Go there 1000 times but don't do this advertisement for a BAU thing.

got geniune questions about these vests.

How hard was it to add some, mag and gp pouches?
There are no pouches to carry extra ammo, how you gonna do that?
If you say they can wear a Load bearing Vest on top of it, well the vest is already bulky. That kind of setup works with slick plate carries. Not with these juggernaut vests.
Was quartermaster aware of this or not, if he was then why he recomended this?
It seems like unit was worried about their cut after ordering them from lowest bidder possible

I like the vantage point SSG security individual chose on top of that defensive line , but in other pic he is also checking out the uniform/equipment of soldier whom COAS has met, he should instead be looking at the soldier that COAS is shaking hands with, unless he developed some suspicion to give an extra few seconds of attention towards the former soldier.

YES YES YES

Matching plate carriers!!!
CO briefs himself when COAS comes to play

Bde Comd is not far behind.
