Afghan border used to be all right before USA invasion. But now you don't have much of a option left. But Iran border is different case for now. I rather they spend billions on something else then keeping army on Iran border.

I believe we have idle troops as afghan ops have been finished so they should be spread out at Iranian border to guard country and CPEC
