Yeah.. that is subjective.. As rich people will lose wealth due to buy foreign stuff, losing the country's wealth to the foreigners..
What about heavy taxation on rich after a certain threshold? and raising it after lower class is getting richer? I am not asking the political side, but will heavily taxing rich:
1. hinder economic growth like formation of big industries? e.g. Ford, Intel, etc?
2. keep a country in a middle income trap? as innovation will cease bcz of less spending on R&D.

I know, that in caste/class system, you need some socialism, but I fear the same thing as the above post. You can give basic education, food, shelter on income bases, but not jobs, higher education etc. Only merit can result in development afterwards.

Yes, the rich should be taxed more. If you have 100 houses, you only can sleep in one in a night. People like Jack Ma so rich and want to become richer so CN government taxed him and the money use in poverty alleviation for his tax contribution. Isn't it good. But do not taxed until the health of the company is affected.

Big industries does not mean bad, like Intel but when monopoly comes in it is bad for the consumers. The problem in US is the huge company lobbied the government to lower taxes or no tax at all.

To reach the middle income is easy but to go above middle income is not easy. And need lots of money and talents in R&D.

Well when people is rich they might will purchased some exorbitant products that is not local. That is normal. Trade is both party gain.

Hotan is a desert region, the poorest place in Xinjiang, per capita GDP in 2020 is 20121Yuan, around $3361 based on the latest exchange rate, pre capita wise the highest region in Xinjiang is Karamay， in 2020, GDP per capita is 200291Yuan, around $31,300

Look at this satire video about Australian govt taxation. They keep taxing the poor and working class. Yes, big companies can invest a lot in new projects, but taxing middle class means, restricting them to move to the upper middle class, and a slight mishap pushes them towards poverty.

Yes, Hotan is among the poorest and most neglected regions in Sinkiang/China. And It's 96% Uyghur!. Government has been trying to bring progress by implementing preferential policies and giving subsidies. The region may also benefit significantly from the belt and road initiative as its rail/road connection with Pakistan and Kyrgyzstan could facilitate trade between China, Central Asia and Europe. But still a long way to go

My friend democracy does not come with equality. Look at USA declaration of independent it stated liberty, freedom and pursuit of happiness. It is supposed to be liberty, freedom and equality. So please don't expect equality in the USA. The elites or super rich want to ensure they are always rich and others are poor. Equality change to pursuit of happiness. Hence they are happy to bomb Iraq they will do it. There is no equality of human rights. They are the the rights. Hahaha

Those are hard numbers issued by the government last year, can't be wrong and this year Yuan increased a lot, Dollar dropped really sharply.
