Gaza-Israel Conflict | October 2023

Yemeni Houthi rebels declared their readiness to resume military operations against Israel if the ceasefire agreement with Hamas collapses and Israel recommences its military operations in Gaza. Houthi leader Abdel-Malik al-Houthi stated that the group is "prepared to initiate a military intervention at any moment in response to an escalation against Gaza" emphasizing "Our hands are on the trigger".
Houthis who control a significant portion of western Yemen including capital Sanaa have been actively involved in conflict since November 2023 conducting numerous strikes against commercial and military vessels in Red Sea and launching missiles and drones toward Israel. While they initially indicated a willingness to scale back their assaults following the ceasefire agreement the Houthis have accused Israel of violating the terms of the agreement jeopardizing its continuation. The ceasefire intended to be implemented in three phases involving prisoner exchanges a partial Israeli troop withdrawal and humanitarian aid is now at risk. The Houthis actions are motivated by their ideological agenda which calls for resistance against America and Israel a desire to rally domestic support within Yemen and an ambition to assert themselves as a major regional player.
Houthis involvement in the Israel-Gaza conflict has broader effects for regional stability and international maritime traffic. Their attacks on vessels in Red Sea, disrupted global shipping lanes prompting responses from the US and UK who have conducted strikes against Houthi positions in Yemen.

A rare historical photo of a Palestine Airways aircraft from the 1930s — a powerful reminder that Palestine had its own airline, identity, and infrastructure long before modern conflict reshaped its narrative.
Palestine Airways was founded in 1934 and operated flights between key cities, marking an era of aviation history that few speak of today.
History cannot be erased — it is only waiting to be remembered.

Israeli Forces Laugh as They Burn Gaza’s Agricultural Greenhouses Amid Total Siege

Israeli tank crews were filmed launching smoke grenades over agricultural greenhouses in Gaza, setting them ablaze while chanting a rabbinic invocation: “Bar Yochai, ignite your enemies with the oil of joy.”

As a result, vast areas of farmland were destroyed, and most greenhouses were reduced to ashes. Israeli forces have also bulldozed remaining agricultural lands, leaving Palestinians with no means to grow food under a total blockade and ongoing genocide. Starvation is now being weaponized as a tool of collective punishment.

ISRAELI STRIKE DESTROYS LAST MAJOR HOSPITAL IN GAZA CITY

Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital was hit by an Israeli airstrike early this morning, destroying its emergency and reception buildings.

No one was killed, because patients and doctors evacuated after getting a warning from the Israeli military.

The hospital’s director says there were no fighters inside — just medical teams trying to help people.

Israel claims the hospital was being used by militants, but hasn’t shared any proof.

It’s the 36th hospital in Gaza that’s been hit since October.

Gaza’s health system is barely hanging on — with the U.N. warning most hospitals and clinics are no longer working.

Over 50,900 Palestinians have been killed since the war began, many with no access to medical care.
