UAE is a small country, they know their people (emirati) can't fight or win any wars, so they are just siding with the winning sides, the rulers of UAE damn well know that if a civil unrest start in their country which it won't because emirati are very small in numbers and all of them are rich, but they can't fight and the rulers will escape to west, they are towing the line of west because they (west) are the ones who can/will save them.
