At first, I didn't believe the GCC Arabs (basically, Saudi Arabia) and their allies would be complicit in the crimes against the Palestinians in the latest conflict but their almost total silence (Jordan king's blah blah doesn't count) is revealing, as is revealing the virtual absence of the GCC Arab PDF members in this thread. Now I believe it: They are so afraid of Iran's rise in their neighborhood that they are willing to sacrifice their own Sunni Palestinian brothers, their Holy Places in Jerusalem, and indeed willing to be under Israel's thumb for eternity.
I still find it hard to believe! They should KNOW that, in future, if they don't comply with the corporate interests of Washington/Tel Aviv/EU then they will be bombed!

In that case, all the leaders in the region need to pressure the US immediately to enforce a ceasefire. Israel cannot go on without US support. Not even for a week. US must halt it's support for this genocide. Otherwise everyone will be dragged into a regional war one way or another.

I believe all the leaders in the Islamic world--even the GCC Arab countries, Egypt, Turkey etc etc have been begging Americans for a ceasefire. But Netanyahu $bitchslapped Blinken for even a 'Humanitarian Pause' which was an earnest American request. Americans don't want to enter a destructive regional war. Contrary to some people's vaunted opinion of the American firepower, I believe Americans will incur heavy casualties and material losses and would be forced to leave the region and that outcome doesn't even factor in what China and Russia may do behind the scenes.
