Gaza-Israel Conflict | October 2023

Evangelicals form about 20% of the American population and provides considerable support to Israel but it is the AIPAC which plays a huge huge role in the American electoral politics. I hear already some in the Democrats Progressive Squad are going to have a rough ride in the upcoming elections because of AIPAC/Jewish donors. Add in the Military Industrial Complex and there is a powerful, almost insurmountable pressure group which literally blackmails American politicians to work for Israel.
Some thing that I see from US law is that they are pretty rigid. Difficult to change the law despite it is pretty clear that current law is not relevant anymore. One example is the previous winning of Bush junior over Jhon Kerry and Trump over Hillary, both Republican leaders votes are less than both Democrat but they can keep winning due to ridiculuous system that is still unchanged until Today.

In Indonesia we are more flexible, the state is funding the parties based on their seats in parliament and also shorten campaign period to minimize campaign cost.

This is essential to avoid our democracy being hijacked by capitalists or any lobby group. There are also maximum donor that any one and company can give during election to parliament candidates, political parties, and also to Presidebt candidate campaign teams

There is a land corridor between Afghanistan all the way to Golan Heights at least and to Jordan's western border and of course to Lebanon. And it may even come to that where tens of thousands Jihadis would march in small bands from many countries of the world. I don't think you can discount that scenario. I think Iran alone has 2 MILLION volunteers ready to fight!!
US has inserted military bases at important junctures along the way on this route from Iran to the False-Israel. For example, the main road that goes from Baghdad to Damascus has a US base in the middle at at-Tanf, as well as several bases on the northern route from Baghdad to Aleppo/Idlib. The sole highway going from Iraq to Jordan via ar-Rutba leads into a large American base near Amman.

The Pakistan army was responsible for the deaths of three million Bengali Muslims and the rape of around 400,000 Bengali Muslim women in East Pakistan in 1971 without the use of weapons of mass destruction. This atrocity led India to intervene by invading East Pakistan and declaring it an independent country. this liberation too was achieved in just 12 days without the use of weapons of mass destruction, leading to the surrender of 93,000 Pakistani army soldiers in Dhaka.
It's not as if Israel couldn't murder millions of Palestinians; rather, their goal is to destroy Hamas. Israel fights for liberal and democratic ideals, not for religious beliefs.
Yup, most of Indians crawling on this forum are the result of those rape cases. No wonder they spend their miserable lives barking against Pakistan.

Despite this, Kuwait's position on Israel didn't change (unlike UAE, Bahrain, Saudi). Even Qatar and Oman are far friendlier with Israel.
These Arab countries, especially the monarchies, cannot easily support Palestine or criticize Israel because they have weak militaries and are hosts of large American bases with permanently stationed American troops who can knock out the governments at any moment. The Arabs are on a leash.

The sad irony of course is that if daddy warbucks really did decide to seriously put the squeeze on the zionists,I`ve no doubt that they`d be screaming uncle [or its yiddish, hebrew, whatever equivalent] quicker than you could say mazel tov.Unfortunately however it is quite obvious that the us has never had even the slightest inclination to seriously consider doing something such as this.
There is some subtle politics in that. In the 1980's and 1990's, many U.S. administrations were unhappy with the settlement activity and tried to squeeze Israel whenever they could. For example, see this action by George H.W. Bush:
But the dynamics changed after 9/11 (along with the lack of much success with Oslo process). It became easy to take political cover for supporting Israel under the umbrella of fighting the war on terror. Now, of course, Israelis are well aware of it and they are cashing the 'War on Terror' Mastercard for the full credit limit and then some.
