Since it appears IDF is going for ground invasion, will Hizbullah join in the conflict as they had communicated earlier? If they don't, this will be the biggest betrayal of modern times. The term Hizbullah will be synonymous to traitor.

Hamas would have never pulled off an attack of such large scale, if they didn't have assurances from other regional players. Hamas absolutely knew the Israelis will use the attack as an excuse to annex Gaza. They must have had a sound strategy to face the consequences of an Israeli ground assault. Without Hizbullah's involvement from North - it will be extremely difficult for Hamas to hold the territory in a dragged out war.

No one knows for sure if Hamas acted after coordinating with Hezbollah or others; from what I have seen so far, the operation was kept in strict secrecy and coordinating with others would have risked the plans leaking out.
It is quite probable that Hamas themselves didn't anticipate such weaknesses in Israeli security.
But, yes, without another front opening, Gaza is likely to fall to Israel--annexation and ethnic cleansing of at least northern regions of Gaza which pose more threat to Israel due to distance.

Pakistan can train pro resistance Palestinian fighters in Pakistan and send a message. If redline is crossed these fighters will be unleashed. Set up an elite unit if ~2000 Palestinian fighters trained to SSG levels.

This isn’t even impossible or far fetched. Those who followed Afghanistan war and Kashmir freedom struggle knows this is something Pakistan is very capable to do. But I agree, the only issue would be how to deploy them in Gaza. But a solution could be found. If these guys are well trained they’ll find a way.

And open yourself up for a massive US sanction response and retaliation.
