The best solution would be for the people in Gaza to leave for Egypt and for Israel to take over Gaza, demolish it and establish new settlements in that area. This would be the only proper and fair solution for all parties involved. The people in Gaza would have a better life in Egypt, while Israel and Palestine could finally reach a peace agreement.

Israel would probably commit massacre in Gaza, no doubt, but will they be able to annex Gaza for an extended period of time, thats a big question mark.

Keeping two million Gazans under military occupation is not possible,, their is a reason they pulled back in the first place

That doesn't mean they won't attempt it for the short term but they will aim to get rid of Hamas

If Hamas is smart and with support they should have had a comprehensive plan, and it will involve street to street fighting, ambushes and the world heavy ATGMs and other such weapons

If that is really the case, it is really smart from Russians in my opinion.

Divert all the attention and funding from Ukraine to Israel, while they consolidate and even increase their gains against Ukraine. But for this to work, this situation in Israel will have to escalate to a full scale regional war and prolonged for as long as possible.

Needless to say the human lives lost as a result will be unprecedented.
