This is just my opinion? At the beginning of the year when people of Israel were marching against Netanyahu's attempt to curb the democracy in his own country it was obvious that only thing that could save his filthy political career is an outside enemy to rally against. Yes, his coalition allowed further expansions of settlements against all previous agreements, but this attack from Hamas is completely unnecessary and now Gaza will be hit. Stop this once and for all, Israel and Palestine deserve to live in 2 state solutions.

Netanyahu might have wished for an external enemy to appear to save political carrer, but this is not his doing.

Now, no matter how many Palestinian, Israel kills, no one will care. Not that they cared much before, but this is not gonna end well for Palestinians.

Then what after that? Israel’s current main interest (outside of restoring the reputation of their fortress mindset domestically) is political normalization with the region.

Large alienated Arab populations during these Israeli-Palestinian episodes are concerns for Arab regimes and play into the hands of the Iranians.

Iranians (and region) are also observing India’s shift to sideline Iran (especially after the IMEE corridor) and cheering the deaths of Palestinians.

Footage and social media posts, that is sure to be shared with all Arab and Muslim populations (especially when coupled with reports of the actions of the Hindutuva minded Indians in the diaspora in the GCC and the West) will painting a clear picture of the trend a growing number of Indians are going.

Officers who want to advance to Major rank need to have an academic degree.

Also, there are academic officers (Actual rank), these are soldiers who did an academic degree prior to their actual conscription (They come for one day, get processed into the army, sign a delay to their service and go to the university.

Those who, at the end , enlist as academic officer are “rushed” into regular officer course (They still have to past the pre-course tests).

On the one hand, if you’re a good student and want to go to college, and your field of study interests the IDF, then the IDF will be happy to defer most of your service till you’ve graduated. You’ll do only a little service during the academic year and upon graduation you’ll be fast-tracked to an officer’s commission. Then as part of the bargain you’ll serve a couple of extra years.

On the other hand, if you enter the army without a college degree and the army believes you have a brain that it can benefit from cultivating in a particular direction for a particular purpose, the army will educate you by itself and/or sponsor your education in a regular college.

This is already a massive win for Palestinian freedom fighters . They launched this attack knowing full well they would lose militarily because they are massively outnumbered and outgunned.. However, they have caused Israeli intelligence and military enormous embarrassment that cannot be undone What is more, this has happened to the most militant Israeli government ever. So, the first rank is easy: only one person has the rank of lieutenant-general (rav-aluf) in the IDF — the Chief of General Staff.

• 3 arms commanders (Ground Forces, Air and Space Arm, and the Navy)

Israelis have caused a lot of pain and misery to the Palestinian people. Many of them are arrogant,annoying,selfish and extremely xenophobic. But a lot of them are good,kind,charismatic people who just want peace or the right to have a country.

Same with Palestinians. Many are smart,progressive,peaceful people. Take for example Ayat Achra's parents. The father was more moderate and wanted peace. He thought that with suicide bombings and violence,there are no winners.
Her mother was the opposite. She thought they would eventually win,this way.

What I saw today,was something out of a nightmare. A nightmare for Israelis and something that will become a nightmare for thousands of Palestinians who knew nothing about it.
