Land operation might be delayed but continious airstrikes on Gaza is no different than land operation in terms of Palestinian casualties. As the war drags on Palestinian casualties becomes unbearable if not already.

As the defenses are beefed up un Labennon and Syria in terms of a/d and srbms by using Russian logistic naval route it will have a deterrant effect to push for ceasefire. Otherwise even if land op does not happen air bombing will continue for many more weeks-months having the same result on Palestinians as the land operation. Albuqamal route and air cargo is too vulnurable to transfer defense items.
