Future of Pakistan and India in SCO

As we all know that both Pak and Ind are about to become full members in SCO. We also know that there are plans for SCO to become like a NATO like force.

Is it possibel for both Pak and Ind to function together. Will Ind work with China and Pak?

I think letting India inside will be against its core value as India will be against a NATO like alliance. India will be working for the US and will be disrupting for SCO.

You mean to say, you hope for Pakistan and India alliance? I doubt that very much. We will try to do whatever is in our capability to stop India from prospering and India will do whatever it can to stop Pakistan from prospering. This is why I doubt India will be a good addition to SCO.

Their is not going to be achieved much apart from some economical pacts between nations. Which won't even work between India Pakistan.

So what do you think, in the SCO alliance India is the odd one out, they are not Chinese allies and are more close to US than Russia or China. Thus in your opinion, wont Indias inclusion be more counter productive in SCO?

SCO is a business entity, It is not a security cooperation. India will form its own block.
Chinese may attempt to make it an organization like NATO.

But with the kind of mentality and the grabbing nature of CCP , these attempts will fail.

China has grown as an economic and military power, but definitely not a leader to lead Asia.

As it stands the SCO is much more of an economic organization than a military one although member states AFAIK do coorperate on anti drug and terrorism enforcement. Economic integration however is generally speaking a precursor to defence agreements and maybe in the future the SCO could become a military bloc. Precedents exist in the past of two rivals becoming part of one bloc and thereafter not engaging in warfare i.e. Turkey and Greece. By no means has their rivalry died down but at the same time relations are a lot more stable between the two now than they would have been had they not been NATO members.

4.to encourage the efficient regional cooperation in such spheres as politics, trade and economy, defense, law enforcement, environment protection, culture, science and technology, education, energy, transport, credit and finance, and also other spheres of common interest

God knows what India and Pakistan will say when they will be asked about how they are planning to fulfilling goals of SCO !!!!!

I believe India will continue not only to sabotage the security of Pakistan, but the economic prosperity of Pakistan as well. There will be antagonistic relationship between these two countries in SCO. So unless India get rid of its condescending attitude toward Pakistan, there would be no improvement in relations.

If you fear India and Pakistan cannot get along, then some thing is wrong with your thinking, because most of the nations find it easy to deal with India.

Having said that India's aspirations and strategic interests have grown, India is not definitely looking for security co operation with China which is an unreliable and major threat to India.

But trade and peace initiatives are welcome in this regard.

actually what you say about india here is undeclared state policy of land of the pure try googling about who why and how mastermined 1948 ,1964 and 1999 war and what are its implications on this regeon

With India in it SCO will never be relevant.

India can offer more than what Pakistan can in next decade to SCO or even you take India out of the equation still SCO is not a relevant entity yet. SCO is nothing but chinese attempt to challenge another American led block called NATO, like it is doing with IMF, World Bank etc.
India knows it and we are there for a economic benefit nothing else. Our security depends upon what we achieve (economically, Militarily and making alliances for our benefit) as a nation.
Its nothing black and white, all grey area.
