From Arabization to Turkfication Ertugrul and Pakistani Nationalism

True. But as long as you plant the seed for change that is better than nothing I guess.

It was propaganda of the likes of Bashar Al Assad and similar secular nationalist of his ilk in Lebanon to separate Levantine Arabs from other Arabs by promoting Phoenicians.

They wanted to divide Arabs to promote their dominance, similar to how Europeans did to other Ottoman provinces.

.
The point being Pakistan is not exceptional. Like any people we have original genetic sub-stratum laid over by layer after layer leading to the aggregate you see today. Meaning we are NOT Indian. We are NOT Arab. We are natives of Indus that have evolved over 8,000 years of history to what you see today. That trajectory is unique. All people have their own trajectory. 95% of Indians are converts to Vedic religion. Most Iraqi's are also converts with a small % mix of Arab. Majority by blood are Mesopotamian. Even the Turks by genetics are 80% native Anatolians with some admixture from Central Asian Turks with the final product being Turkish speaking Muslim converts.

Dude you gonna have OP be like you some "ebil majoosi liberal" who wants to destroy Pakistan blah blah but in a serious note nothing in history stays stagnant as you mention if Indians can harp on their conconcted nonsense of "Akhand Bharat" we have every right to own ownership of the Ancient IVC

.
Do you know how big the market economy is in Egypt for 'tourism'?

Pakistanis are burying up the IVC because of lack of interest in tomb raiding and vandalism both ironically.

but yes black market is pretty much the same in Pakistan and Egypt.

what about the simple argument that Chauhans don't want their elders dug up and paraded for charity?

right to own ownership of the Ancient IVC

sounds like a temple raiding liberal prophecy.

It's what we've all been saying for many years, Pakistan and Pakistanis have a unique identity that is difficult to pigeon hole. The only other country that shares the most with us is probably Afghanistan. That's it. More Pakistanis need to understand, embrace and celebrate this fact.

Yeah Sadat was a cuck for the Gulfies leading to Egypt suffering the same fate like Pakistan under Zia in the 70s and 80s "progressive Saudisation" and also leading it to be a client of the US Security Establishment

Its easy to be a "cyber nationalist" but in real life people are just have apathy this is the problem we face as a country Pakistanis just dont want to change many have resigned themselves to "stagnation"

I think a lot of people do want to change but don't know how to go about it or find it hard to express themselves correctly.

Sorry brother, but as someone who can speak Arabic and has befriended and known Egyptians my whole life, even prominent heads of Arab and Muslim organizations, your post is absolute nonsense.

Copts are a small minority and a relic of the past, similar to Parsis of Iran.

Egyptians are both Egyptian and Arab at the same time. The two identities are not mutually exclusive.

It is an off topic discussion and probably can be answered in more detail from our Arab members @Falcon29 @Amun @ArabianEmpires&Caliphates @Total Destruction

I don't know why you are tagging Indians to this discussion. Identity of Egypt has nothing to do with them.
Egypt is a big mix but since we speak Arabic, Yeah we are arab country no shame about that.
Even copts are mixed

Assad isnt Levantine nationalist tho, the folks in Lebanon are actually anti Syrian to the bone mainly the Phalangist types and they hate Assad

Another indicator of how racial identity is so powerful and supersedes religion. What the Egyptians are now doing is something that Pakistanis need to emulate.

Why does one have to trump the other? Why can't race and religion exist together?

Are we not comfortable in who we are as a people, our heritage, and our philosophy?

I take a holistic approach to Pakistani identity, I see it as a culmination of centuries of historic evolution by Allah swt of our Non-Muslim ancestors and Islam gave the final impetus for us to chart our own destiny and become a nation in our own right.

Exactly but we just dont know or we prefer stagnation cause we dont like challanges

I 100% agree with you here. However our strongest currency with Afghans is religion in this day and age. We follow the same madhab and spirituality as them.

IVC and historic empires heritage can be added on top of that Islamic base.

Actually..........................

Bhuddist link to Afghanistan is the foundational basis of close cultural link between what can only be described as Afghania tributary of the greater valley system

In the case of Pakistanis, Islam and our race have combined to form our culture and heritage.

Finally a sensible post out of you. The geographic Indus includes the surrounding mountains that drain into the Indus. This all of the Pakhun majority provinces of Afghanistan including Kabul ~ river Kabul drains into Indus near Attock. It includes all of Indian Punjab and Himachel Pradesh. All ethnic groups living within this basin, Sindhi, Pakhtun, Baloch, Punjabi, Kashmiri etc are scions of Indus. All share a common platform. This amalgam is basis of Pakistan as it forms 94% of the people. India, Iran, Afghanistan may share some threads but they have their own unique tapestries.

Religon always has profound effect on culture and history of a people. As a secularist I would openly accept this.

If people look at my DP it shows the Indus River Valley with a box. That 'box' includes the surrounding areas of Indus. Pakistan however is the defining state of the Indus Basin as it occupies the ground zero.
