What's new

Friday prayers held in parts of pakistan amid strict lockdown

Not with semi-automatic weapons. That too carried unconcealed.

Only the state owns semi-automatic weapons in India.
He is personal bodyguard of someone and is carrying fully auto weapon, pretty common in Pakistan.

i can't quite see the human beings of the opposite sex in the OP.
Mosques typically have men and women segregated, and because fewer women go to mosques to pray, the mens section is the larger and typically the one where photography is allowed, so you're not going to see women in most of these pictures.

This particular group (Lal Masjid) has a womens wing and separate structures for them. A large part of the vigilantism that occurred in the run-up to the Lal Masjid operation under Musharraf was in fact carried out by the women's wing of the Lal Masjid.

It was a clever ploy on their part, using women to blockade roads and property because they anticipated a much lighter response from law enforcement.

The head of the Lal Masjid even tried to escape in a woman's Burqa & clothing during the operation when women and children were given safe passage out. His brother died in the mosque at the hands of the military like the terrorist dog he was.

So now you know what Shaheen Bagh and the Delhi Intifada was.

Same modus operandi.

Uncanny.

@DESERT FIGHTER @notorious_eagle and I forgot the member who said if it were an Intifada many more Hindus would have died (sorry if you're reading this)

Yes.. You can say that.

Anyway, there are very few differences and I don't think they matter. One major difference is on timing of Asr prayer.. Doing my research on that.. Three imams say Asr starts when the length of shadow becomes equal of the hight of the object, ahnaaf say when the length becomes double.. I think I will go with the other three on this.

all four of them do not deny Asr prayers. Stop threading the needle in matters of faith.

tum logon ko kisi ne bataya nahi ke amal ka daromadar niyyat per hai?

This is exactly what I want to point out.

Those who say that if someone is a hanafi, he should only follow hanafi in all matters whether he agrees with the explanation of other three in those matters, are wrong.

Very few differences, but people have made it a matter of jannat and dozakh.

And I am against how Pakistani ulama tried to defy government orders despite knowing that masajid are being closed for general public in these times in other parts of the Islamic world.

Guns to person ratio for 100 people in Pakistan is about 22.3 guns per 100 people.

Guns to person ratio for 100 people in India is about 5.3 guns per 100 people.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Estimated_number_of_civilian_guns_per_capita_by_country

With millions of unregistered firearms the actual numbers of guns and the ratio must be higher...
How's the situation with gun ranges in Pakistan?

My brothers (and dad before he passed away) would typically do our practice shooting on our land in the village, similar to most people I know. Since we're already awash in weapons as a country, need to think about more gun ranges and shooting clubs/competitions similar to the US.

stop getting paranoid over jewelry or facial hair.

grow up

On the issue of guns we are different planets.

I have half a mind to start a what if thread for Indians later

What if our army falls and the armed hordes of Pakistan stream into India.

What sort of planning do we need?

Training. Logistics. Mobilization.

Most of us at max would have knives, sticks, hockeys, rods, and a couple of swords at home.

Maybe this is a program the RSS and HMS need to look into.

you took so many posts to explain that. why not try the creative art of one lining.

nobody defied anything. stop dramatizing religion for the sake of politics. we have active debate culture and that is good for the general masses.

behas mubahisa ijtehad ye sab ruk nahi sakta. ghareeb beemar ho phir bhi nikalta hai bahar rozgar ke liye. konsa socialist nizaam hai Pakistan me jo ghar bethe rashan paani mon solwa utar raha hai?

kamzori na banao. masajid se achi jagah social distancing sikhane ke liye Pakistani culture ke liye. awein ulti ganga na bahao.

logon ka ehteraam masjid me jitna hota hai utna agar sarrkon per ho to ye masla na ho.
