Lol. She definitely did not perform well in the debate. This was her first chance to show that she was not who the media perceived her to be, and that she had the temperament to be President. Instead, she merely reinforced the negative things people think about her.
Viewers seem to agree:

En Marche ! falling a bit short of an outright majority, the Republicans finishing a distant second, the National Front making major gains, and the Socialist Party winning just a fraction of the seats they have now---but probably winning enough to give Macron a governing coalition should he seek one.
