French politician calls for ban on immigration from Bangladesh and Pakistan post violent protests calling for beheading of those who insult Islam

. .
You should better ask Taleban in Pakistan and Afghanistan and also the ISIL in Leven to get a genuine answer to your question. I am not as pious as these people or like you.

I only said what I watch happening in many of the Muslim people. Do you think decapitating a man is something humane? A common person has no right to take another man's life that happened in France.

.
Absolutely agree with you brother.
The "civlized world" has effectively "killed god" in the sense that the "Concept of God" no longer commands the universal awe, respect and reverance which was common upto the 19th century. Only developing and undeveloped nations are hyper sensitive about religious issues and countries who have made religion their national doctrine have effectively sabotaged their own development and progress - There is not one Muslim nation that is prosperous by accord of its innovation - almost all Islamic nations who are not sitting on oil fields are struggling to exist as peaceful entitites due to this regressive mindset and illiterate mullahs misguiding the people.

I was born in a Hindu family and I feel no offense or hurt if anyone criticizes the gods and godesses, makes offensive depictions and makes satirical fun of monkey god or elephant god or whatever. Everyone is free to think as they like and we cannot force them to change their behavior only because we are so sensitive about our own beliefs. God is not offended by the ignorance of man.

Please note that Turkish people are not basically fundamentalist. I have met at least few hundred Turkey people in Japan. None are practicing Muslims and none live in the past glory, even of their own Ottoman Dynasty. I have neither seen them talking about politics nor religion. None are bearded. Turkey is essentially an European country and their culture has been influenced by the secular Europe.

They are all secular minded. This may be the reason why Turkey is the only Muslim country which is industrially and economically developing. This is the reason that they do not go after destroying things the host countries have built by putting a few centuries of hard labor.

We in many Muslim countries pretend to be hard core Muslims, but, at the same time, we lack also very fine human qualities that make a person good Muslim. Anyway, it will be difficult for us to become less emotional in religion and people desist secular education. The parents love their children to attend Madrassa.

So, how do you propose to change this group of people if it is not the way Chinese are dealing in Uighur, a forced and imposed secularism?

They didn't get there by magic. Turks have been educated, and have reached that level of human development for them to get rid of wrong interpretations of religion. They are much ahead of us in everything. This is true for groups ranging from Kazakhs (who got 'reuducated' during Soviet era like Uygyurs today) to Iranians who have progressed the natural way. Iran in 1979 during the Islamic revolution had low literacy rates while the picture is the opposite now with a highly educated population, and the support for the religious-theocracy is at its lowest point. We cannot repress any ideology, but uphold an apt standard of education. The higher the quality of education, the better the 'manners' of a certain population. The Muslim world during its peak was open-minded and science-oriented while the west was theocratic, but today it is the opposite. This open-mindedness needs to brought back for the society to succeed once more.

Weird logic!
He has a point there. Had we not gone nuts when they did it the first time we would not be where we are today. We are indirectly encouraging them to disrespect Prophet (SAW).

We should have faith in Allah's all-powerful ability to deliver justice on the Day of Judgement and keep calm
So BD doesn't have right to protest insult to their Prophet saws in their own country, but France has every right to protest in favor of the right to insult BD's (and Muslim's) Prophet saws?

It is like insulting someone's parents and getting angry when they protest, then trying to take actions to stop them from protesting.

What is wrong with your French @Vortex ?
No doubt they are being Hypocrites.
The only govt + judicial system that is consistent in its free speech stance is the US one.

@bluesky , and some others ,read on protest for the Da vinci code , and the angels and demons .
New York times

The Da Vinci Code' provokes widespread protests ,

The Guardian

Christians protests and boycotts planned for Da Vinci Code film

The Times

Vatican bans Dan Brown film Angels & Demons from Rome churches

Now some protests from mature Christians .

The problem is no one even read ,see or advise the mature and wise Christians. All just like to dictate the savage Muslims.

before judging Muslim protestors!

Judgement of God does not come directly . God is almighty , he could easily establish any religion in this world he desires . But why he does not do so ? Why he sent prophets and messengers for the job?
He has a point there. Had we not gone nuts when they did it the first time we would not be where we are today. We are indirectly encouraging them to disrespect Prophet (SAW).

If now Muslims do not protest for their honor , then once haters will make a cartoon of prophet (pbuh) with more serious things. But the protests must remain peaceful . So boycotting French good is a part of it.

What to expect from a LGBTQxyz country where bastards roam the streets. Sooner or later the Muslim boycott of their products will eat up their economy like french fries and Macroion cheese.

France should kick out these low class labors. They don't deserve to be live in a Liberal country like France.

Bangladeshi slums are more suited for these kamlas.

DHAKA, Bangladesh

A French politician, widely "infamous" for her anti-immigration stance, in a tweet called for imposing a ban on immigrants from Bangladesh and Pakistan, creating discontent among Bangladeshi authorities which have slammed the politician.

Marine Le Pen's comments came on Saturday in the wake of massive protests across the world, particularly in the Muslim countries, including Bangladesh and Pakistan, following French President Emmanuel Macron's comments supporting the republication of blasphemous caricatures of Prophet Muhammad.

Le Pen, the chair of the National Rally political party, on Twitter called for an immediate suspension on immigration from Bangladesh and Pakistan "for the sake of [French] national security" and "in view of the new ultra-violent demonstrations" in these countries.

On Oct. 28, Macron vowed that he would not prevent the publishing of the cartoons of Prophet Muhammad under the pretext of freedom of speech, sparking outrage among the Muslim world.

A French teacher, Samuel Paty, who displayed the cartoons in his class on free speech, was killed on Oct. 22 by a Chechen-origin teenager.

French Muslims have accused Macron of trying to repress their religion and legitimizing Islamophobia.

Several Arab countries as well as Turkey and Pakistan have also condemned Macron's attitude toward Muslims and Islam, with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan saying the French leader needs a "mental health check."

Meanwhile, for the last couple of days, tens of thousands of Muslims in Bangladesh have been demonstrating in the capital Dhaka as well as other megacities protesting Macron’s comments and calling for boycotting French products.

Last Monday, tens of thousands of people under the banner of Hifazat-e-Islam, one of the largest Islamic non-political groups in Bangladesh, gathered outside the country’s national mosque in Dhaka to protest against anti-Islamic acts in France, including the display of blasphemous caricatures of Prophet Muhammad.

Marched on the city streets and headed towards the French Embassy in Dhaka, the protest rally, however, was barred by law enforcers at the city’s Mohakhali area.

The country’s biggest Islamic political party Bangladesh Jamaat-e Islami and some other organizations also held demonstrations and human chains in a previous couple of days and urged all to boycott French products.

Earlier on Oct. 2, Macron argued that “Islamic separatism” was problematic, and added: “The problem is an ideology which claims its own laws should be superior to those of the republic.”

- Hate and intolerance

Meanwhile, a Bangladeshi migrant in the French capital Paris, Md. Wahiduzzaman, told Anadolu Agency that Le Pen’s comment is full of “hate speech” and “intolerance”.

Like her father Jean-Marie Le Pen, she is mainly known here for her rigid stance in favor of Islamophobia and against immigration, he added.

“We, more than 50,000 Bangladeshi people, mostly Muslims, have been living in France with peace for decades,” Wahiduzzaman said.
Referring to Macron’s recent comments, he added that “it is merely political”.

“With a view to regaining the downfallen popularity, Macron is desperately trying to use the cheap nationalism to gain in the upcoming election.

“Political environment in France sometimes turns hot rounding the upcoming 2022 presidential election,” he also said.

- Unjust and inhuman

Speaking to Anadolu Agency, Monnujan Sufian, Bangladesh’s state minister for labor and employment, however, termed Pen's call for a ban on Bangladeshi immigrants as very “unjust” and “inhuman”.

“They have ridiculed our prophet and it has shocked the Muslim community worldwide. Bangladeshi mass people are also protesting against France's stance and it’s very normal,” Sufian said.

Marking the call of the ban as Pen's personal view, Sufian said Bangladesh is not tensed at all for it.

“I hope that the French government will not accept any such illogical and unjust demand. We will also keep our normal ties with France”.

Referring to the ongoing upsurges of Muslims in different parts of the world as "usual", she added: “As a normal Muslim, it’s our moral duty to oppose any ridiculous practice against our prophet”.

According to the latest media reports, Macron, however, claimed that he had understood the feelings of Muslims who were shocked by the displaying of cartoons of Prophet Muhammad.

Yes, it is natural for some people to be hurt and make threats out of anger but it is completely unacceptable in todays modern, developed socities that someone becomes so offended when their beliefs are hurt that set forth to behead whoever hurt their sentiments at the cost of ruining what's left of their own lives and those around them.

Recently a painting of the prophet was aired on Chinese TV show but there has been no backlash, protest or anything. It means islamic sensitivities has the potential to be used as weapons in nations where bigger powers want to cause instability but when the state benefits islamic nations, they are selectively quiet and accepting of the same offenses.

Where is this "violent" term coming from? I don't support these Anti-French protests, but the ones in Bangladesh aren't violent. Though they are dangerous because no one is social distancing or wearing masks during a pandemic but they aren't violent at all, by the time this article was published at least.

.
Ban them all you like but none of the protests were violent.

France gets subjected to much worse vandalism every weekend as economic sorrows are drowned in wine.
