I don't think Muslims or Hindus are the problem. It's the lack of development in their home countries and ghettoization as immigrants. Of course there are exceptions. You don't see many Turkish terrorists out there for example even though the community in western Europe is huge, and is largely composed of the working class. I can't speak for all people, but in Bangladesh we need to up our education standards before it is too late. Heck, even getting the adult literacy rate to >90% would be a good step. Unfortunately, unlike East Asians, we face religious issues in society, and these problems need to be addressed.

P.s. If Franafrique ends, their language will also not as much prominence, especially if local languages are standardized and used more by the locals, such as Wolof or Mandinka. A 100 years ago the Turks did something similar with their language and worked very hard on literacy. The Turks, with their own experience, could help many of these African countries in this regard. It will take some time (decades) but the long term break from France will be worth it to end France’s neocolonialism. Wolof is a language in Senegal that could be the first candidate language for this approach. Turkey has good relations with Senegal, so it maybe the best first country to help. Here is a video of an American guy that picked it up in a few weeks.

Please note that Turkish people are not basically fundamentalist. I have met at least few hundred Turkey people in Japan. None are practicing Muslims and none live in the past glory, even of their own Ottoman Dynasty. I have neither seen them talking about politics nor religion. None are bearded. Turkey is essentially an European country and their culture has been influenced by the secular Europe.

They are all secular minded. This may be the reason why Turkey is the only Muslim country which is industrially and economically developing. This is the reason that they do not go after destroying things the host countries have built by putting a few centuries of hard labor.

We in many Muslim countries pretend to be hard core Muslims, but, at the same time, we lack also very fine human qualities that make a person good Muslim. Anyway, it will be difficult for us to become less emotional in religion and people desist secular education. The parents love their children to attend Madrassa.
