Robert Chardon, mayor of Venelles, a town in the south of France, tweeted: "We must ban the Muslim faith in France."

He called for the country to removal a secularism law dating back to 1905 – and instead "promote the practice of the Christian faith".

Chardon added: "We also need a Marshall Plan to send Muslims to countries where the religion is practiced."

He is confident that the religion will be banned in October 2027 – but did explain the significance of the date.

He later explained to the newspaper La Monde that his plan is "the only solution for most of France's problems".

Chardon is vice president of the Organisation of Municipalities around Aix-en-Provence.

His right-leaning party, the Union for a Popular Movement, are now looking to expel him.

France has an estimated five million Muslims.

Many have faced suspicion following the massacre at Charlie Hedbo's Paris offices in January.

Islam is the fastest growing religion because most Muslims live in poor areas where people still think its ok to have 10 children so they can earn them money. And the fact that alot of countries with Islam women are still little more than tools that are used for cooking and sex.

Then the fact that the offspring never make a concious choice to become muslim, its all they know, thats not a true muslim to me. The first muslims decided to become muslims, they learnt of Islam and adopted it as their religion, a choice. Whereas with most muslims they never made any choice, if your religion was placed upon you from such an age that you couldnt even comprehend what a religion let alone god is then by the time you grow up if thats all you know then you will generally accept that, a true muslim chooses to become one, if its a part of your lifestyle and culture then thats false in my eyes.

If I was to have a child and lived in a place where there were no black people and told them that all black people are bad and you should never speak to them and they never knew anything else about black people, then they wouldnt take to kindly to them if they ever met one, because its all they know. They never would have made a choice but if that child made a choice and spoke to a black person they would realise whatever they knew from birth was told to them by someone else and they never had a say in it and its a false belief because it was made not through self discovery but through someone elses words. Its why alot of muslims I met in university here in the UK who actually INTEGRATED unlike most, they started to discover more of the outside world and started to lose alot of aspects of their past because they were raised in cultures where questioning your religion is seen in an extremely bad way, some I know stopped following Islam altogether whilst others become alot less "devout".

Religion thrives in places of ignorance and intolerance..and also pestilence which generally happen to be places with high birth rates.
