if he can be proved innocent with evidence, then I find no reason from the Pakistani court to convict a individual based on false claims.

You have no idea, mate. You probably have lived most of your life in UK or India where people take their system seriously and system tries to function fairly. In Pakistan, attitudes are very different. Like, say, Police and lawyers hide thier incompetence behind "This is inefficient kufr British system NOT Islamic sharia system" type thought process.
If you don't believe me, talk to a British Pakistani law student. In stead of learning general Philosophy of Law, these people try to write dissertations criticising "Western" law/legal tradtions and merits of sharia! while they are still in the first year of college.
