God willing, 72 Rafale
It is easy to assimilate
What makes it a bit difficult is the huge weapons package

Urgent..Reuters: France agreed to sell Egypt 30 Rafale fighter jets, worth 3.75 billion euros.

According to details unveiled, France and Egypt on April 26 signed a contract worth a total of 3.95 billion euros, including the sale of 30 Rafale fighter jets as well as two other contracts for the benefit the MBDA missile and Safran Electronics & Defense. An Egyptian delegation was to initial the agreement on Monday in Paris..

The Egyptian state has obtained a loan guaranteed by France up to 85% for the "mega-contract" concluded at the end of April. "In other words, the Public Treasury has stood surety with several French banking establishments - Crédit Agricole, Société Générale, BNP and CIC ..A financing loan with a term of a minimum of (10) years."

** The Rafale F4 with Spectra GaN and the updated OSF with the new stealth data-link, the most sensitive thermal Mica and the AESA radar designed to deal with Stealth fighter aircrafts, in addition to the Meteor and Talios pod that can be used in thermal air-to-air detection .... It is not exaggerated at all to say that Egypt will have a very potent and difficult to deal with match for the F-35 ..

After this deal, there will be two weapons deals with 300 Meteor air to air missiles and 500 scalps cruise missiles..This is what Egypt asked for as a condition before signing any new Rafale deal as this one..

how can Egypt manage these various type of weapon system from so many sources, from Russia/France/EU/USA/China

I m afraid to say these weapons will become logistic/maintenance nightmares in future for Egyptian Armed forces

.
A huge modern air fleet ......... 372 fourth and fourth++ generation fighters

220 F 16
20 Mirage 2000
54 Rafale
48 MiG-29M/M2 (Mig-35)
30 Sukhoi 35

The entire fleet of the F-16 will be directed for CAS.. it will be a second line for all tasks and as the first choice for any air strike in non-hostile environments. Thus, It will be the largest firepower for close air support in the region ......... and the most economical after the air Tractor, the Kamov and the Apache..

There is no point in using the Sukhoi 35 or Rafale for air support, with 220 F-16s being more economical
At the same time, the Sukhoi 35, the MiG-35, the Rafale and the Mirage 2000 will be available to provide the necessary air protection for the skies !!

* Not to forget the 24 Eurofighters that are in the pipeline..

Congratulations. The deal is now officially announced by the Egyptian ministry of defense (contract is fully signed).

. . . .
I believe Egypt will get JF-17. To replace bulk of Mig-21 and F-16 that cannot fire BVRAAM.

Wait for the good news soon.

. .
Nothing new. We already operate Dassault Rafales not to mention Mirage 2000's and Mirage V Horus since the 90th.
Yes i know Brother but most of the world major air forces are trying to replace their multiple fighter jets inventories with 2-3 unified systems to reduce maintenance/logistic costs and you're going opposite way???
